Default What is the little button next to the hatch release?

2017 RX 350
Maybe I'm not Googling correctly. Next to the button to open the rear hatch there is a tiny button. What does this button do? I pressed it but didn't notice anything.

PCS? See if anything lights up on your gauge cluster?

If the button does not have any symbols on it, it means it's a placeholder for a feature/package which your RX did not come with.

The button to the right of the trunk release is normally the HUD button, which toggles the Heads Up Display on cars equipped with that. Further still to the end of the right side is the Gas cap release button for the hybrid cars.

It depends on the trim one has, on my 2017 it operates the heated steering wheel.

Is this "little button" on the back hatch under the handle or on the dash of the car? The little button one on the rear hatch locks the car.

Like RGSW said, it locks the car.

That's not the button he refers to, it's the one to the left of the steering wheel that you press & hold to open the rear hatch

Shhh, don’t tell anyone…it’s the passenger eject button. Riding for hours with a family member who won’t stop talking? Open the sunroof, discreetly push the button, and poof! Out you go!

I ordered that option, but that button doesn't work on my car...

Sadly for me it's my wife's RX and didn't think that feature was needed.

Perhaps you should be careful riding in the passenger seat while she drives!

I have these on my 2017 RX350 Exec .. do you have the same? The 3 black buttons on the right are just blank-panels (future).

The buttons are all the same size. Some of them don't do anything because you don't have that option. The buttons are all the same size. Think about it for minute, why would the engineers go to all the trouble to put in a smaller button just because it is dysfunctional. Really? What am I missing? Maybe I am really stupid. Oh, i know what it is, I didn't read the manual close enough. Sorry. Disregard this post.

I don't think you are going to get a reply from the this poster.
