Coolant Replacement FKS

Coolant type?
I see in the manual I should use Toyota Super Long Life Coolant that is pre-mixed with 50/50 coolant and deionized water. I also see that a similar high quality ethylene glycol-based non-silicate, non-amine, non-nitrite and non-borate coolant with long-life hybrid organic acid technology can be used.
Should I purchase the toyota coolant or can I use Hyundai's ethylene glycol-based or Subaru glycol-based coolant I have for my other vehicles? My understanding is color doesn't matter, but FWIW, one is green and one is blue.

This has been covered quite a bit on CL. My answer is always, use the aftermarket coolant perform a long term experiment and get back to us. It is a certainty Toyota SLL coolant is stellar, we don't know that about the various aftermarket options.
I know for sure mixing some coolants with Toyota SSL can have a nasty chemical reaction.

I went ahead and ordered the Toyota coolant. For $30 bucks it seemed like a good idea for a vehicle valued around $30K.

This is a correct statement. Unfortunately, there is no standard for coolant colors. You have to look closely at the chemical content and choose a product using that information.

Don't remember what I paid, but definitely a drain-and-refill. IMO, a flush is too risky. Check the coolant condition and if it looks good, one D&R is fine. If it's very dark, I'd do two D&Rs about 3-4k miles apart.

Rockauto also has it for like $13.xx
I think this is as close to.... no, I wold be pretty damn suprised if this wasnt the actual toyota/lexus pink coolant.
Even if it's not, it's probably as safe as it can get...
