A looking at online manusl for my new 2022 450h and it says 91 0ctane fuel and using less may damage the car. Ive read here using regular is ok...

since the owner manual says it could damage your vehicle using anything other than 91 I suggest you use it. The majority here have the RX350 and our owner manual says 87 octane or higher.

we know you are excited about your new purchase but you might be better served by lumping them all into one thread.

Used 87 octane in vehicles that have required or recommend premium for over one million miles in many vehicles and never had one engine problem and more importantly no difference in acceleration or gas mileage. Go to Youtube and watch the multiple studies confirming this especially CBC News and Consumer Reports videos.

@Chiefsfan Please use one of the many existing 450H / octane threads. As in your earlier running boards post (and two others new thread topics earlier today merged with existing threads), I ask you to use search for existing topics and look at the FAQ for questions before creating a new thread please. Most topics will have been extensively discussed and if you find you have additional questions, just respond to the existing thread on that topic.

For example I searched for 450H octane in this forum, here's a thread with 90 posts discussing that topic pretty thoroughly
