Default Total loss or repairable

Rear ended today in my 16 rx450h. Think this is repairable or gonna be totaled? Has 88,000 miles on it.

Kelly Blue Book has your RX valued at $26,000. Guess for damage would be $8-10,000 if no frame or underneath damage. Hope everyone is OK?

yes, everyone is ok. Thanks for asking. I don’t think there’s any frame damage. I had it estimated at 86,000 miles by a few dealerships to sell and they offered around 23-24. KBB has it valued at 22k now. Let’s just hope I can get it fixed quickly. Sucks that it’s now lost it’s value with a big accident like that on the carfax

Probably depends on the damage we can't see in the photo -- motor mounts, suspension components front & rear, other points in the unibody, etc. The visible body damage is probably repairable for under the book value, but then there's the other stuff.

Ask insurance company for diminished value settlement.

Also keep in mind that your radar from blindspot monitor is located under that area on each side of the vehicle as well, so if that was damaged it may need to be replaced and recalibrated. (If your vehicle was so equipped with BSM, it was optional on 2016)
