@gromaudio - Are there any KNOWN bugs with this? I did not pull the trigger on the GROM VL2 for my 2015 GS 350 FSport because of the issues other users experienced (see this thread). I stuck with the Beat-Sonic USA mirroring system instead. I would like to get this for my 2017 RX350 FSport, just need some assurances.

Eddie, my VL2 have been rock solid for many months now. I always update to latest firmware/software, never any issues for my 2015 GS. I experienced 3 BSODs, but that was many months ago. I think most of the issues are with 2013-2014 GS for whatever reason, maybe different radio software is causing bugs. I know you're in a RX now, so can't say for sure if it's solid. But nothing is sure in life except death & taxes

Oh good, then you won't have any issues. Mine been really solid. If you said 13-14 GS then I would say stay away. I think Grom uses a 2015 as test vehicle since I rarely have any issues. Guys with the other MY always complaints of bugs that I don't have.

@gromaudio do you have a video of this unit working on the 2016+ RX with 12.3-inch display and Android Auto? Also, how does this unit interact with the Panoramic View Monitor (360 camera) and reverse camera/Lexus Park Assist? Does the car seamlessly take over to show the camera view or do you have to switch back to the OEM? Thanks.

On the wide screen of RX 2016+ the operations will be similar, but you will use Lexus native mouse controls.
VLine VL2 does not interfere with 360 camera and reverse camera/Lexus park assist. You will keep using it the way you always do. The car will seamlessly take over once you engage the reverse.

Just so you know, we are actively working on Wireless CarPlay. Once released, it will be available for all VLine VL2 users via firmware update. See demo here:

You keep saying that you dont have a video of your unit on a 2016+ RX with the large screen...why are you posting in this section.
I say either post up a video of it actually working or quit showing us that video of an old RX that is not the one we want to see in action.
Post up or shut up! 🤪
Im not saying this to be mean, I really really want to see this thing in action on the current RX model so I can decide if I wat to buy or not.

Although, this could be just any 2020 model which already has carplay. How do you get to carplay from VLine VL2?

Im really liking this unit and what you guys are doing. And I REALLY like that you are here in the USA developing the product versus trying to get support from across the planet. 👍
For any of non technical users, what would you say is the biggest differences pro/cons of your unit versus the LSAILT unit?
