A 450h+ plug-in hybrid is a good addition. However they shouldn't call it a 500h unless it has the power of the LS500h at least.
A RX350h just makes Lexus go further down market unless they get rid of the normal 350, which I hope they do.
With the Venza and Sienna being hybrid-only; I wouldn't be surprised if the future direction of Lexus is to make all their vehicles some form of hybrid.
It just makes too much sense to replace the regular RX350 with the Highlander Hybrid's 2.5L I4 + electric motors powertrain (likely with more powerful motors so that the HP rating will remain close to the ~290 hp of the current RX, or they might just leave it with the 250 hp but torque is up significantly). RAV4 Prime's current powertrain is already at 300hp, so that will match up with the RX450h+ almost too perfectly.
I have a feeling that due to the bigger batteries, the RX450h+ and RX500h would be around the same price; with the 450h+ being extremely hard to get due to battery supply.
