Has anyone in South Florida installed the Lexus Integrated Dashcam at the dealer? I called two dealers and they want to charge 2 hours @ $220/Hours to install it. Total, including the dashcam $780.

Yeah he told me I needed a wiring harness but included that part at no cost. He told me that after the dash cam was installed.

Wow awesome. Did you actually go to Lexus of West Kendall? I’m guessing since mine’s an IS. There isn’t a way to install it on the drivers side. From what I’ve seen. But I wish it was possible. Honestly, I sometimes forget I have it since I can’t see it.

Yes. Yunior at Lexus of West Kendal came through. They did a great job. Thanks for the tip.

Hello Friends,
Wanted to share my recently completed DIY dash cam install and what worked. Decided to not go OEM because expected dash cam life is 2-3 years so I view it as a consumable product that will be replaced at some point. My unit was a Viofo A119 Mini 2, selected for small footprint and screen. I wanted the screen so the dash cam could be set up and used without an app (one is available), Read reviews and you will see that dash cam apps are buggy and complicated. I installed a Dongar 10-pin type B connector to power the dash cam from the interior rear mirror. That is the connector version that Dongar says fits the 2023 RX 350 and it worked for me.
I did not record my installation but Dongar has a video of an RX 350 that I followed. For my Premium model with digital mirror, the pin for the connector was the second from the left (driver side).
Easy and clean. Hardest part was removing the plastic covers to install the Dongar connector.
