I'm using the cross climate 2 in our RC 350. For a Michelin, it is loud. If that matters to. you. I wouldn't recommend it. Been a Michelin user for a long time using mxv4 primacy which was very quiet, grippy in snow and wet surfaces, even in high speed on latter. I haven't tried the CC2 on both conditions yet.

I've never owned a CC2 but I like the look of them for my 2013 RX which I use very few miles each year...I think it would be a good year 'round tire, give me the performance in snow I need...

I've never had noise issues with any Michelin tires. A friend has the CCs and says they are fine, so maybe the CC2 is different? Regardless, will be quieter than snow tires.

I have Cross Climate 2 on a RAV and my in laws RX. Both Ultra smooth. As a matter of fact the CC2s are much quieter than the OEM Bridgestone Ecopias they replaced.

Yeah, Bridgestones we had was awful as OEM on our old 2011 RX, rough ride and noise.

You'll notice the CC2 being louder if you have used a different Michelin before. it's more noticeable when slowing down without braking. But I'm ok with it as long as it'll perform on wet and snow conditions.

The Bridgestone Ecopias on my 2020 RX 350 were quite noisy. I finally put Yokohama CY CTX on the vehicle and it made a big difference. The Goodyear Eagles on my RX 350h AWD Premium Plus are quiet and this vehicle does seem to be quieter than the RX 350 it replaced.

Default How Are Your OEM Tires Wearing?

So I noticed at 4800 miles the dealer shows the front tires at 8/32 and the rear tires at 7/32. I believe they (21 inch Michelin) started with 10/32. I check the pressure religiously. Is this premature wear?

That first question is somewhat of a "doesn't matter" thing because I know that even if the OEM tires are wearing out super fast, Lexus isn't going to do anything about it and neither will Michelin. So my second question is this: Have any of the tire makers finally put alternatives on the market for when these are done?

Yes, 21". At 2200 miles, I see no wear. I have a gauge I guess I could stick in there for a formal measurement.

I bought a tire gauge months ago. Time to pull it out and see how they are doing. Visually they seem to be wearing evenly.

21”Goodyears here.

So your car came with Michelins? Didn't know they even made a tire for this car yet. If so go to there site and put tire in to see tread depth new.

What Michelin's are on your car? Don't see any available on TireRack. I thought only the press cars and launch cars has Michelin's (They were summer tires) trying to show off performance.

At 4900 miles my 21” Goodyears tires, front and back are at 9/32

Does anyone know what they measured when new?
