All happy to report finally the MICHELIN PILOT SPORT 4 SUV 235/50R21 are officially available. These were first seen on the pre production RXs on the pre production models.
They can be found on tire rack site!

Too bad it's a summer tire only.

This Michelin tire is a summer only tire (not all season) and is $140.00 per tire more than the OEM Goodyears.

Yes. And or that reason I wouldn't buy this (the new Michelin) tire. But I'm glad to see that there are some non-OEM tires finally being made in this size. Hopefully the selection will continue to grow.

Yes, these are performance tires which wouldn't be all season tire or for 350H, these would be for more for 500H or 350F for those who push it with adaptive suspension and bigger six piston brakes etc.

I'm sure they would be fine on lesser models. I've pushed the RX450h+ to its limits and the tires are the limiting factor, not the suspension. That said, I personally have no interest in running summer tires on this vehicle. I'm hoping the Michelin CrossClimate2's will be available in the OEM size soon. Those are the best standard all-season tires I've ever run.

Default Options for 21 Inch Replacement Tires

So the 5th generation has now been out for about 18 months or so. Have the tire makers come out with any replacement tire option beyond the OEM choices?

According to Tirerack.com there are options from Michelin, Goodyear, and Bridgestone.

Thanks. I went to TireRack and it appears that only the Michelin is new, not OEM. And it's a summer tire with only a 20,000 warranty. Not a great option in Pittsburgh. I don't need tires yet, but if I did, I'd probably have to get the same OEM Goodyears that are on the vehicle. I was hoping for more options but it is what it is. Thanks.

The superb Michelin CrossClimate2 is available in the OEM 19" size, but not the 21 yet. Hopefully it will be available by the time we need new tires

Love, love, love the Pilot Sport 4Ss on my Golf R. So much so that I’m on my second set. I wouldn’t bother getting them for the RX though.

I have the predecessor, the Pilot Super Sport on my Focus ST. Spectacular tire. Like you, I'd never put it on an RX.

Default Rx350h 19”

They are 235-60-19. No one is making them except for OE Michelin. Why?
