Default Double pane glass on '23 RX?

I know this really isn't the tread for this question, but I couldn't find one directly related. Do you all know if double pane windows are available as an option, standard, or not even offered on the 23 RX? My 22 had them but my 23 doesn't appear to.

Lexus advertises that all RXs come with acoustic glass. I believe acoustic glass is normally double pane.

From the owner's manual.

Not sure it can't be shattered with one of those hammers, one layer at a time. Might take a few blows. Otherwise they would be sued by people who got into accidents and couldn't escape the vehicle.

28 year firefighter here, you aren't shattering it like a tempered glass side window. It's going to be like pulling a windshield out, lots more work but it least you only have to get it out of the regulator track and not the entire windshield frame.

Default Pic of double pane

Thank you for pointing this out. I checked mine after knowing what to look for, and I do have it.
That diagram makes it pretty clear. And since it wasn't mentioned anywhere on my paperwork or window sticker, I assume it's standard at least on the Luxury model.

Leave it to the government to mandate this, trapping you in your car. I never knew this. By the time any emergency personnel get to you, you are probably dead already.

It also makes it much more unlikely for you to be ejected from the car in an accident, a much more likely accident scenario than being trapped inside.

Low probability: high consequence.
