Default Tire Pressure keeps getting low

I got RX 350 luxury with 21" tires in January. One tire got low and I added air. Then, I checked a window sale sticker and it said that the tires were filled with nitrogen (I read online if tires are filled with nitrogen it has green cups, but mine are regular black). In less than a month same tire got low again. I'm worried if there is a problem with the tire or if it's because I added air instead of nitrogen. Any ideas?

A trip to the dealer is in order. Let them figure it out, it's under warranty. Good luck.

My dealer is 1,5 hours away. I will call them today to set an appointment. Thanks!

Was that a dealer-added sticker? I never heard of any Lexus being delivered with factory nitrogen. It's a gimmick. Add air as needed to keep your pressures at 33 all around, as per the door sticker. 1.5 hours to the dealer? Forget it. Are you really going to drive 3 hours every time you need air? It's tire air!!! Again, nitrogen is a gimmick. Buy a small electric or battery pump or go to the local gas station, do the top off and drive on.

‘Add air if needed to maintain correct pressure. Sounds like you have a nail or small leak. Not sure if Lexus will cover a puncture. I would go to Discount Tire if you have one nearby. Don’t worry about the possible nitrogen.

Before you drive back to the dealer, examine the tire carefully (all around) and look for a nail.

I just use 78% nitrogen in my tires. Otherwise known as air.

A Lifetime nitrogen refill was a free add-on from a dealer which I didn't even notice during the initial purchase. I have made an appointment and will go Friday to checkthe tire. My OEM floor mats are in so I need to go anyway to pick them up. We do have a small pump and it was great to quickly add air.

Yeah, my dealer briefly tried the $400 for nitrogen routine but he noticed the sneer on my face....the stuff is so "expensive" that Costco supplies it free when you buy tires there...sometimes a tire is not mounted properly, and it needs to be re-mounted ...

I make my own custom organic/gluten-free mixture of 78% nitrogen. You can't be too careful.

Adding air vs nitrogen would not have made a difference that fast. It could be a bad valve stem or maybe a puncture or a number of things. I agree, let the dealer figure it out.

I once had a new vehicle and one tire leaked air. Dealer replaced the rim and that solved the problem. I guess it was out of round.

could be a contaminated bead or leaky valve stem. or could just be a leak in the tire.

I would like to report on my trip to a dealer. They found a small nail on a side of the tire that could not be patched or repair due to the location of the puncture. They had to put a new tire. I bought the car in January along with car warranty and tire warranty. At first, I rejected any warranties but then considering how expensive car is and bad roads we have I have change my mind. Well, its paid off and tire change was free, saved $350.
