My problem is I use progressive eyeglass lenses, and to focus on the mirror screen I have to tilt my head way too far back to get the bottom half of my glasses lined up. It's not an issue when using the mirror because it's a reflected image.

I switch back and fourth as needed. Comes in handy when you have passengers or cargo carry and the rear window is obstructed.

Both my wife and I too wear progressive lenses. The digital mirror is next to impossible to see 'in focus' with out being an acrobat.

I use it when carrying passengers in the back seats or when the trunk has stuff blocking the view. Get handy in these situations.

I also use it during bad weather as the camera on the top of the glass someone's has clearer image than the limited area swept by the wiper

It's not a replacement of regular mirror, rather an additional feature to enhance it.

I use it at these times as well as when the grandkids are in the back and they demand to see what’s going on behind us. lol

Is the analog mirror auto-dimming for night-time?
