No such luck here. Background app refresh has always been on. Maybe not available on Premium model?
Somehow I really doubt that's the case. It's likely all part of the glitchy stuff Lexus has been having with the app. Mine is Luxury, as is Daryl's, and he does not have it either. I think one of the earlier posters had a Premium model, and they did have horn. Maybe contact support through the app and see what they know.
Glitchy app. Exactly. So today I deleted the app and redownloaded it. No improvement. There’s still no horn option and the “sensitivity” selector is stuck on “medium” no matter what I do.
Yeah, it's frustrating as hell. It seems Lexus is not alone in the software problems. Hyundai, BMW, Mercedes, and some others are having similar problems. But I don't own one of those cars! I want Lexus to fix this.
I am still reluctant to use the digital key because it always seems to knock something out of whack. The rear hatch acts up, and when I park and lock the car, there are multiple beeps, like something is wrong. I've even had it cause the car to forget me once. My profile just went away.
Is there a way to remotely beep the horn, “to find the car”, with the app in the same way you could with the FOB?
My local Lexus dealer's Technical Specialist finally got back to me on this topic. It turns out that the HORN button only appears in the Lexus App for vehicles which have the Digital Key option.

Hmmm. Well, Daryl has Digital Key. In fact, he uses it quite a bit. But he does not have "horn" on the app. And considering that two weeks ago, I didn't have it, and as of 2 days ago, I do, your tech guy might be soft-selling the issue. He may be correct that only Digital Key owners have access to Horn, but there is still a glitch, and some DK owners still don't have it.
The last few replies show that despite what one dealer claims, there’s still no rhyme or reason to who has the horn option (panic button” in the app and who does not. Digital Key or not seems to have nothing to do with it. Not does the level of option package (Premium, Premium Plus or Luxury)
If it is a huge parking lot, I will “drop a pin” on my iPhone and it has saved me a couple of times. Seldom do I find it necessary.
My problem is memory. I don't remember to focus on where I parked. So I wouldn't remember to "drop a pin" either! All of that being said, this really is a royal pain. The old "panic button" on the FOB was a great thing. The fact that the Lexus tech team isn't focused on perfecting the Digital Key and App is a black eye for the "Relentless Pursuit of Perfection" old motto.

It appears that I have the latest App software, latest iPhone software, latest iPhone, latest Lexus. What's not clear is where to find the car software itself and how to update it, if even something that's user doable.
