SONAX sells an Alcantara cleaner that is perfect for cleaning these alcantara (suede) inserts. I currently have 9,000 miles with no stains or transfer on the Macadamia seats.

The owners manual recommends Woolite cleaner and I find it works great. Love the smell too....

I went to test drive an RX with macadamia interior and it had about 8 miles on the dash and the center console and the seats were dirty. Turned me off bc even if it wipes right off, I don't want to keep thinking about it. I just passed up a brand new 2023 RX 350h luxury - white with the peppercorn seats and I'm sick over it.

Macadamia bamboo accent five .months and never shown any dirt. About once a month I wipe it down with Adam's interior cleaner not because shows dirt but the best way to keep material looking new. Takes two minutes.

Leather protect, then Woolite for me. No issues.

Default Macadamia Seat Wear/Stain?

Hey All!

Looking to step into my first Lexus and I have my eyes set on a 2024 RX350h however the only options available to me have the Macadamia interior finish. Normally this wouldn't be a big issue for me as I really like the look of it but I am concerned about how much the seats might wear and/or stain as it is a fairly light color and I wear a lot of jeans and dark fabrics.

Just wondering what peoples experiences have been with this interior color and if they have noticed quite a bit of staining from darker colors.

Thanks!

Just over one year of ownership now and 10,000+ miles. I have not used any cleaner or protector, just vacuum every few months. Still looks great. But I did just buy some Woolite for a cleaning before winter sets in.

We’ve had several Lexus models over the years … all but one had the NuLuxe interior (faux leather). And they have held-up really well. And we’ve had several of the lighter (non-black) colors to include: Macadamia, Parchment and Rojia Red. I wear jeans almost exclusively … and never a concern. And I am “Virgo-****” about keeping my interior pristine.

I just grabbed the one that says it's for "Delicates". I haven't tried it yet.

I bought the only type of Woolite they had at my Walmart. I had a quarter sized either coffee or iced tea stain on birch interior.

Used about a 1/4 tsp speck on the tip of my finger, rubbed minimally.. 5 minutes or less wiped off with real cloth.

Poof, stain gone! Good luck. I now have 2 lifetimes worth of Woolite.

That stuff is great! I've been using it for many years.
