Default How to make brake hold part of driver profile?

Is there a way to make the HOLD feature part of my driver profile? I've only had my RX500h f Sport for four days and every time I take it out for a drive I've had to push the HOLD button separately to use that function.

I looked online and it seems it’s not possible. I wish it did though as I love that feature.

ah, bummer! on my Volvo XC-90, I can push that button and it's set until I release it.

Brake auto hold at stops. The brake releases when you hit the accelerator. It allows you to remove your foot from the brake at stop lights.

If you have it, Traffic Jam Assist also allows you to remove your foot from the brake at stop lights provided that you are following another vehicle.

In a word - NO. Probably some sort of safety concern. Too bad it would be nice. Lexus, you listening??

I submitted this as a software update. My Mustang Mach E remembers the hold setting so I do not have to press the button each time. Annoying.

My 2016 VW Golf also remembers the brake hold setting on startup as well.

I rarely use it. Brake hold is abrupt when starting up from a stop, unless I'm doing something wrong. My Honda was the same way.

I have not noticed that at all. I use brake hold every time I drive.

My Volvo XC90 remembers the brake hold. Once I turn it on, it remains on until I turn it off. So I can't imagine it's a safety concern on the Lexus.

I'm curious how you submitted a request for future software updates. I'd love to suggest that they add the capability to set a default radio/music volume to use every time you start the car.

No possible, Japanese car most likely will require you to press it every time after you turn off your engine (my old odyssey is every time in Park and the damn button was right next to the hand brake button with same design); I know German car like BMW will memorize it so when you drive again the brake hold will be set; at least Toyota put the button very accessible, so just remember to press it lol
