Default Any way to eliminate E Latch Delay?

Has anyone been able to find a way to eliminate the delay from the time you push the door handle push button until the door latch releases?

There is an annoying delay at default setting. Not sure if there is a setting to eliminate the delay.

This delay must have something to do with the safety check for oncoming traffic?

So, as soon as you pull on the door handle from outside, the door opens?

Interesting. Thanks!

I wonder if there is a setting that the dealer changed for yours.

Is this the interior latch/button or the outside door handle latch?
