I can't find where you guys changed the tap blinker number.

I would like to change mine from 3->5.

Dealer. Or you need a copy of Techstream software and connectors.

OK I thought that thead said the dealer had to do it but I wasn't sure.

I think that at one time you could change yourself but not longer. I am pretty sure my LX560 was user controlled. I will be requesting mine to be changed to 5 blinks at the 5K.

It is one of those settings that the dealer has to do. I changed mine from 3 to 5 blinks. I think three is just too fast seven is too long.

Does anyone know if the Carista app works on the 23 RX i'v used it before and it lets you make all the dealer changes but I don't see that it is supported yet.

This is the 2nd thread that I've read that refers to this 'tap blink'. Help me out. What is this exactly?

It is the turn signal blinking that is initiated by the driver with a momentary tap of the turn signal stalk. Not fully engaging the stalk.

Very nice feature used for highway travel. When changing lanes the old way was for a left change you would push the stalk down and turn signals would flash until you manually moved the stalk back up or made a complete left turn. With the tap it will signal to everyone for 3 or 5 or 7 blinks you are changing lanes and will automatically stop blinking. Told a friend that has a Highlander for three years and did not know about this feature. Showed him and his response was this is a cool feature.
