Lexus Dealers in Canada are fully aware of this issue. There is a replacement dash piece that can be special ordered by your dealer.
Replacement part # is: 55475-0E150-E3

You can put super glue gel on all these clips, put it back on and it will stay there for the rest of our lives.

Would be a good idea to call Lexus also. Apparently the more calls they get, the more attention they give an issue.

Any idea what how involved this repair is? Does it require removal of the entire dash?

Thank you all for buying the first year of a redesign. I will be buying the 2025 version with all the issues you found fixed 😀

Have an appointment this weekend to get this issue fixed. Dealer says they have new clips with greater tension and that they have successfully repaired several, and that these clips are definitely different from the clips they used to attempt the first fix to my vehicle. Hopefully this will work. Will try to update next week.

See if they'll let you get a picture of the new clip to share with us.

Good luck, hopefully everything will go smoothly! Do know if they need to take down the whole dashboard?

Please let us know if they just replaced the clips and pushed it back in or they had to remove some of the dash components?

Since I am waiting for it, I assume they do not have to take apart dash. The last time I did this I don’t think they took the dash apart.

New clips sound a lot better than having to tear out the dash!

Had the dash repaired today. The whole visit took about an hour and a half, so they definitely didn’t take the dash apart. As you can see from the service ticket, these were special order clips (sorry didn’t get a photo of the clips). It remained tight during the 100 mile drive home and feels tight. The service advisor mentioned he wished Lexus would come up with a fix for this. When I asked if this wasn’t the fix, he indicated it was not a Lexus directed fix. Fingers crossed. I’ll post back if the fix fails.

Interesting that that it says they added tension to all clips. I wonder how they did that.

I wonder what they actually did.. without custom fitting clips, I hope they didn't just come up with some jerry rigged method.
