Apparently these were special order clips and different from the clips they initially used to fix the issue. With that said, it did not sound to me like the clips were specifically made for the dash separation issue…no idea what the clips defined use is. I am hopeful even if jerry rigged it will hold, but would not surprise me if it doesn’t.

Default Dash failing again

After having mine fixed on 07/31, it seems to be falling again. Taking it in for the 10,000 appt on 10/14 and hoping to have a more permanent solution. Super annoying.

I took my 2023 RX350h into the dealer for the 6 month checkup. The dash trim started to separate from the upper dash a few months after I purchased the 350h this year.
I explained the separation and the dealer in Oregon was familiar with the problem. They removed the clips and "installed expansion" to the clips and put the clips back on. Here is their description of the service: SERVICE: INTERIOR TRIM
DESCRIPTION:~|~CUSTOMER STATES INTERIOR TRIM IN PASSENGER SIDE IS COMING LOOSE PLEASE CHECK AND REPORT ~|~CLIPS WILL NOT HOLD DUE TO POOR FITMENT/MANU FROM FACTORY ~|~CONFIRMED AS DESCRIBED. Sounds like they have a fix now that doesn't require tearing the dash apart.

Sat in a 2024 and the dash was secured well. The newer bottom panel seems to sit further back, about a cm+ back vs the top dash piece.

Hard to see from the angle, but the newer panels fit better, maybe they fixed the clips.

Default Dashboard separation

Is anyone having an issue with their dashboard separating? I have a 2023 Rx350h and the dealer did something and looks about 10% better but not acceptable.

A few people have had dash separation problems and there is a thread on this problem in this forum. It goes back a few months; a search should bring it up.

Seems to have only been an issue for a few months of production in 2023. Our dash garnish needs to get fixed as well.
