Not sure why I don't get that kind of mileage. I have a new 2024 RX350 AWD. I drove from Orange County to Las Vegas and back in "ECO" with 91 octane fuel, 70/75mph for a total of 490 miles highway. I got 21.9mpg. My 2016 RX on 86 octane always got 24mpg or better on same trip. I now have 1100 miles on the car. Now I have to use gas that is 30 cents more per gallon and a 4 cylinder car that gets a minimum of 2mpg less. Anyone have any ideas?

With 1100 miles only engine is still in break-in period, so fuel economy might not be your final.
The 2024 rx 350 and 2016 rx350 have similarly rated fuel economy.
The 2024 RX 350 is explicitly rated and published to use premium gas tough.
The only 2024 RX that uses regular gas is RX 350h now.
2023 AWD RX350 F sport - 20.9 mpg. Its honestly worse than my 2017 RX350 FWD. My 2025 BMW X5 M Sport gives me much better mileage around the city. 24-25 mpg and it’s a V6.
Had it wrong. I was still on the trip milage originally set at the factory. Did a reset, and drove to Palm Springs and back. (about 200 mi). Got 28mpg. All is good
