Default CarPlay Navigation ETA Stuck on Military Time

Anybody here noticed that when using the navigation via CarPlay that the ETA on the multimedia screen is stuck on military time? I played around with my phone and car settings and confirmed everything is set to standard time but yet it still displays a military time based ETA? I even called a Lexus Brand Specialist to no avail. First world problems here but I'm OCD when it comes to these type of things and it's bothering me I can't switch it to standard time. Would love to hear from someone who was able to figure this out and thank you in advance!

Hey there! I have the same thing and noticed it immediately. It seems to be a glitch. Not sure if it is with Lexus or Apple's CarPlay. Hopefully it will be fixed with a software update.

I ended up switching my RX over to use 24 hour time for everything because it bothered me so much to see different formats next to each other lol.

I use military time on everything since I travel a lot. Finally got my spouse to accept it. Although I still get a stink-eye when I say dinner will be at eighteen-thirty hours.

Is that like Elevendy-Ten, or Noon-Thirty?

@krafty81 - Interesting. Using CarPlay, can you send us a screenshot of the ETA on your multimedia screen with any travel past 12:00?

I have the same issue here too on my 22 NX 450h+. It shows as military time. Hopefully it will be fixed with software update (whenever it comes)

I stand corrected! I use military time in the car so did not notice. Also, Android Auto does not have that problem. I use that too.

I just tested this in my car. If I use Apple Maps in CarPlay, I get the 24 hour clock, but if I use google maps, nothing displays on the instrument panel.

I can confirm this as well. CarPlay displays military time and integrates with the instrument panel and head's up display. Google maps does not have this integration.

Has anyone figure this out, or are we waiting for an Apple fix? And is Apple even aware? This bugs me too.
