As I was pulling up to work this morning, the cover art matched my interior illumination and I thought it would be really cool if the lights could change based on the album artwork. That might be deemed too much of a "distraction" by government bureaucrats, but maybe someday.

What are some other tech you'd like to see Lexus add?

Might be a gimmick as I have no idea how well it works in vehicles that have it but Heated and Cooled Cup Holders would be nice.

What I would like is an alert if exiting the car and my phone is still on the wireless charger.

If you have digital key on your phone (Even if you don't use it) it will not allow you to lock the doors, even if you have the fob on you outside.

 

i do have the digital key on the phone and it does allow me to walk away with the fob and lock the phone in the car.

 

I have digital key on my Samsung S24+ and if I leave in the car I can not lock the doors with the fob on me by touching the handle. You can still lock with the buttons on the fob though.

 

Leading vehicle departure alert: When stopped in traffic, provide notification after a brief period when the vehicle in front has departed.

 

Added. Maybe just don't look down at your phone when waiting in traffic or at a light.

 

Ok we won't look at our phone, maybe just Christie Brinkley like in the red Ferrari in the 1983 film National Lampoon Vacation.

 

I'm actually looking at the screen and trying to figure out where the vehicle setting I'm looking for is hidden.

 

anyone else interested in fewer alerts? Love the car but it beeps at me like the roadrunner...

 

We did add a request for a log so we could go back and see why it bleeped, blooped, or dinged.

 

first car I've had to wear glasses just so I can read all the messages that pop up...
