I got your first and third, I want to check something in the manual when I get back home for your second.

What is #1 in the original list? You mean the radio volume does not stay at the last setting?

From post #12: "The car currently remembers the last volume setting just like radios used to in the past when they had analog volume control. The nice thing about having the ability to set a starting volume is if the last driver had the music cranked when they shut down the car, you don’t blow someone’s ears out when they start the car."

If you're someone that really never messes with the volume, you just set the starting volume at that level. There is also no reason they couldn't make it an option to set a starting volume and if you don't set one it defaults to the last volume.

I added this to the top post. I'm thinking the reason it is only voice command is because it requires the Intelligent Assistant from the Drive Connect subscription. The manual doesn't talk about that command at all anywhere like it does other commands so i can't confirm.

In Google Maps you can hit a route preview button that will zoom out and show you the traced route.
Can't find that function on native navigation...

I find it annoying that when you unlock the car just to get something out of the back or whatever, the side mirrors fold out.
I prefer the scheme where the side mirrors only fold out when you start the vehicle or push the button if doing cleaning, etc.

And I’m the complete opposite. I like the visual confirmation that the vehicle is definitively locked or not locked.

I have the same feeling but still no reason this couldn't easily be an option. Added.

Yeah - I get that - always relock when doing that if I'm not going to be around the vehicle.
If they enable the auto-lock feature, confirmation issue solved!

- The ability to have the car auto lock when no key is in range (post #4)

Don't know if this would be controllable by the multimedia screen

But I just realized that the passenger-side outside rearview mirror on our RX500h does not have the ability to Auto Dim.

A SEARCH here saw several discussions on other models, where owners were also grousing about this seemingly overlooked capability. (Chip Shortage?) <<SIGH>>

That is a hardware issue, it would require a different mirror and wiring harness in the housing. It doesn't bother me but I also set my side mirrors the way that avoids any blind spots so the lights behind me don't hit the mirrors anyway. https://www.caranddriver.com/feature...d-blind-spots/

I believe as cost saving the auto dimming passenger side mirror has been removed form RX and NX; regardless of trim and options.

For this car not to have a split screen is technologically backwards. It is not an oversight and it probably is hardware used will not support. Makes me wonder what else is skimped on and whether I want to trade my ES300h for this. It is good knowing the downsides without surprises thanks to this forum.
