I purchased a new RX 450h+ and I got it delivered a month ago, this is my first Lexus ever.

During my purchase, I added an option for a front and rear dashcam, installed by a third party that is working for the dealer, so it is also under warranty.

For some reason, I have a rattling noise from the headliner/moonroof, which is most apparent when I open the curtain.

I've got the car checked twice already and I still hear the rattles, however, since the last check, the rattling decreased a bit, while still very apparent and annoying.

1. The first time I got it checked by the dealer who pointed out that it was from the dashcam installation, and once the third-party company checked it, they said that it is not related to the dashcam, but rather something with the rails.
2. Then, as the issue persisted, the dealer checked it again and tried to fix it themselves, they had the car for 3 days, and now after getting it back from them, the issue is still not fixed.

So, now I'm a bit frustrated and would like to verify with other owners if they also have the same issue

You must have a gen 4 RX since the RX450h+ isn’t available as a 2023 model in the US. You might want to post there instead of gen 5. Either that or you don’t own a RX450h+.

They must have removed the headliner in order to install a rear facing camera.

Anytime someone takes the panels off, there is a good chance things will not go back the same way; specially a 3rd party.

I would work with the lexus dealer to get it fixed. There should not be any rattle in this car, period!
