yes you can - when not in cruise control mode. BUT … the HUD has 4 modes (one of which is off) each displaying more and more information. As you increase the amount of information displayed, the Multi-Information screens also change. If I am not mistaken the more info in the HUD the fewer MI screens there are. The Lexus Tutorial Part 1 has a section that describes which screens are active, and their order, with each HUD option.
I also think it is odd you can not change these screens when using cruise control.
