This is a trivial question, but does the speed limit show on the actual navigation screen in the center of the car? I’m not talking about the heads up display or the dash with the speedometer, but the 14 or 9 inch display. According to the navigation settings it should be showing on the screen. I have mine turned on but it doesn’t show so I just wondered if anyone else’s does. I have attached two photos from the manual. Thanks
UPDATE. So I took my car to have the mudguards installed and while there I had them look into this issue. The best they could tell me is that either the owners manual is wrong with what was printed or there will be a later software update that will add this in the future to coincide with what the manual says. This explanation doesn’t make much sense with there already being a setting to turn it on and off, but it is what it is I guess.
Thanks - but maximum 5 mph (8 kph)? Up here the charge limit is usually 15 kms over. I would love to set to 12 kph over.
My bad on the video it is for the previous gen? The settings for the driver assist is located on the main screen (nav audio), go to settings, driver assist notification and then to excessive speed caution level. It appears to only allow a max warning level of 10 km over the posted speed limit. I am assuming that is on purpose for liability issues. Cheers.
Let me suggest the following. I had the same query originally, but this seemed to have solved my concerns. I am assuming you are talking about the little speed limit sign on the bottom left of the dashboard display. I noticed that sometimes it wasn't there, and at times different from what is on the map view. I deduced on some longer road trips that the camera on the front end of the vehicle has to recognize a speed limit sign on the side of the road before it will display regardless of what the map shows. This was further strengthened by going through construction areas with reduced speed and that showing down below, obviously different from the map because the maps do not know better. So, in the country where you may not see a speed limit sign for a while, there is nothing to display.
I assuming this is what you are talking about, if not please disregard.
