I fought hard in northern NJ back in March and ended up with roughly 4%. They started with "we don't let any hybrid go for less than MSRP". I could have done better if the one I wanted was in stock but it wasn't even built at that point.

24 350 F Sport
After having multiple IS300s, pulled the trigger on a RX350 F Sport earlier this month.
Was looking for a Black w/ red interior model. Found a couple in the northeast and after some research found the one I wanted.
MSRP $66,355, negotiated down to $59.8k, OTD $65,520.
Came with all the packages I was looking for (convenience, tech, cold, etc.)
How’d I do?
thanks

Congratulations and I think you did good! I ordered out of allocation and had to wait a couple months to get what I wanted, and my deal wasn't nearly as good as yours. Way to go!

That's amazing IMO!
I'm trying to work with my local dealers (Northern Virginia), but none are budging. Then again, they have plenty of clientele that can just straight up buy cars regardless of price.

I work with dealer in north east almost ready to pull the trigger on 2024 RX 500H MSRP $74k his lowest price what can do is $67.8k plus TAX & fees. What do you guys think? (car been on the lot like 3-4 months)

I live in Va and my local dealer also refused to budge. I contacted 2 other dealer in the state who had an allocation and I got a decent deal for the time(Feb 2023). The deals are better now. Also go to caredge.com They have a course called deal school 3 (free) which explains a lot about the car buying process and how to get a good deal. You need to get several Out the door price quotes different dealers and pit them against each other. If you don't have the time or don't want the head ache of doing it your self, they have a car buying service ($999) which I think they guarantee at least that much saved.

Which dealer did you end up working with? I live right by Pohanka and I've heard more bad than good about them. I've bought from Lindsay in the past, but the last time was 8 years ago and I knew someone on the sales team - he is no longer there.

I got quotes from both dealers you mentioned. Went with Lindsay since their allocation was closer matched to what I was looking for. The more quotes you have, the better your chances of getting a better deal. Caredge also has a forum called "ask cardege". You can post your deal and they will give you guidance on what the "going rate or deal is. Aside from the $999 buying service they have cheaper options where you can email them one on one with their "experts" to give specific advise on your offers and suggestions on how to respond.

350h Luxury or 500h F-sport....same price
In the market to buy a new Hybrid RX. In the past I tend to go luxury...as with my current 450h (4th gen). Soft, serene, a Lexus SUV that is not a Ferrari..and neither is the use I have for it... which is mostly in and out of suburbia on crappy interstates and roads.
The RX350h is in high demand for the supply, especially in the very few luxury package RX350h that they make. In short, dealers I've talked to will let a RX500h go out the door for the same price as the RX350h. The 350h gets next to no discount, the 500h is pretty well discounted now hitting the summer and end of 2024's cars.
Clearly the 500h is faster, the 350h more economical. The 500h looks a little better IMO outside, the 350H better on the inside. The 500h doesn't have the CVT engine that sounds like it's being tortured...but the gas pumps would be fun to drive by too...and that CVT engine is tried and tested. I'm not large, 32" waist, so either seat can work. I tend to go for lighter interiors, so that's a compromise. It just seems hard to pay the same price for a 350h, and if I was in a lower package the price disparity would be greater. If I could have a luxury package in the 500h, it's a no brainer, would pay more for that. I just feel the purpose of this vehicle is not sporty, it's coddling. I also really am unsure how much more stiff the 500h adaptive suspension is on crappy roads, the tires are the same I see, I have to go test one.
Open to thoughts and ideas.

I have had the 350h for over a year. When I bought mine, everything was MSRP if you were lucky. Lot's had markups and addons. Since the 350 and 350h were the same price, my choice was easy. If I did it all over now, I would still get the 350h. I really like the 450h+ but because of battery issues, I wouldn't get that until they figure out a fix. Giving the transmission issues on the 500h, I would steer clear of that.

Definitely recommend test-driving them - they all feel very, very different to drive.
The battery issue in the 450H+ is actually manageable if you are tech-savvy - and don't mind being proactive. For my 450H+, I left the car parked straight for 26 days and the battery survived after I got back, but only died when the temperature dipped to 4 C for 2 consecutive days a week later, but not ever after. Essentially, its manageable because you can either proactively charge the 12 V by remote-starting the car every so many days with the phone app every few days or charge with a battery maintainer once a month or so (esp. if you don't drive the car much at all and keep it parked). And keep the key in Faraday pouch and such so as not to wake up the car. While I think Lexus definitely dropped the ball by having an underpowered charging algorithm (that can likely be fixed with a software update), but its not an unlivable reliability problem for me - because I can mitigate it to quite an extent.
On the other hand, would definitely recommend evaluating the transmission reliability way more before deciding on the 500H, since that's something that the user cannot manage unlike above - and can be a major issue requiring lemon law buyback, etc.

2024 Lexus RX350H Premium Plus - Out the door price
What have you gotten for a 2024 Lexus RX350H Premium Plus out the door price? Did you get it under MSRP and if so how much below MSRP? What is your out the door number?
