I just got another price sheet on a Hybrid Premium in a different (but still premium) color. It has all the specs I want and he says this is what my OTD price is.
MSRP: $52,600
Factory Installed Options: $3,275
Port Installed Options: $425
Delivery Processing and Handling: $1,350
Total: $57,650
---------
Doc Fee:$150
State & Local Taxes: $3,694.16 (I can't figure out this number. It's 6.25%, but the numbers aren't matching up to what they have here)
Total License and Fees: $200
----------
Grand Total Drive Out: $61,694.16

This dealership about an hour away from me, but so far this guy has been pretty helpful. Found him on the website and reached out to him cause he's only been there for 6 months lol. None of these fees are negotiable at all? What if I said I want my OTD price to be $60k? Is that even doable or are they absolutely not budging?
Short answer is go for it, the worst they will do is say no, sometimes it can be the war of the wills, if you come across as a serious buyer a bit back and forth may yield results or not.
For me they would not negotiate on the MSRP or doc fee as hybrids were in great demand. I emphasized during the negotiations that I was a serious buyer and really was interested in coming together on this deal. I did get them to remove a protection package add on. So this left me with my only other bargaining tool (other than not purchasing) which was my trade. I researched it to death (Kelly blue book/auto trader/Canada drives etc and came up with the top value and added $500 to what I wanted to offset the doc fee. After much back and forth they finally gave me my asking trade value (So in a round about way I got most of the Doc fee removed). During the negotiations I just stood firm on the trade value while pushing back to them much like their justification on MSRP that I was also unwilling to lower my market value for the trade to them. Cheers

I still don't like the $1350 DPH fee when added to the $150 doc fee that's $1500 dollars of BS, I would like to see that cut at least in half. I would extend your looking range. Check out https://caredge.com/ This site has a lot of free info and tips. They also have some very reasonable paid plans with experts that can help in the buying process. You can get an out the door price from dealers 100-200 miles away in your state and use them to leverage the local dealer. I bought my car from a dealer 100 miles away because the local dealer wouldn't budge on his addons. I did all my car negotiating by email and finished up on the phone. I never even went to the dealer I bought the car from.

DocuSigned an order to buy a 350H premium for $500 under sticker price, before taxes and fees. car is on the lot. will be picking up soon. there aren't any of 350h in stock in SoCal really. initially walked into a dealer was told 2.5k markup, we can put deposit on in-transit stock.

Perhaps the tide is turning, crazy thinking that $500 off MSRP is something to get excited about lol, good on you for at least getting this amount off, I paid full MSRP. Cheers

I was expecting to pay MSRP, or wait some months after reading this thread. not feeling right to pay any markups. So... anything off is a plus. but the car is configured to have useless puddle light, usb charging cable kit, mud guards.

The mud guards are great, you will be happy you have them. They keep the side of the car cleaner. The cables are over priced but not that much in the grand scheme of things. I have the puddle lights which are ok but I actually ordered some off the internet that are suppose to be brighter and have the Lexus logo. With the low inventories and allocations on the 350h we all get stuck taking cars that either have stuff we don't need or are missing stuff we want. When I bought my car in Jan 2023 most dealers had between 2-6 cars in their expected allocation. It seems now that the inventory is getting tighter probably due to the 2024 change over. If the car is close to what you want option wise I would grab it.

picked up the car today. arrived 9:30. out of there less than an hour. only spent 10 minutes with the finance manager. put down some signatures, didn't even mention extended service plan to me. from first email to sales to done deal, 3 days.

I'm comparing a 2023 and a 2024 RX350h at the local dealer. I'm trying to determine how much lower I should pay for a 2023 to justify it over a 2024. To me, 1 calendar year by itself is usually worth about $5k in resale value from what I can tell. Does anyone know what the 2024 model year price increase was for Premium and Premium Plus? I'm having a hard time locating this info, that 2024 information is spotty it seems.

How long to you plan on keeping the car? If you plan on trading in the not too distant future, this info would be helpful. But we keep our cars for a looong time (still have and love our 2013) so the residual value far in the future matters little to us.

Just a few years so it is important. But even if I planned to keep it for 20 years, I'm not going to settle for a measly/small discount on a 2023 compared to a 2024. I just want to make sure last years' model is priced appropriately.
The point is moot, they sold the cars I was looking at this weekend before I could get anywhere with the sales guy.

That's "the thing" with the new model for selling cars, they just are choosing (thus far anyway) to not make as many and so (and they state this) they don't have to run big sales to get rid of existing inventory. It's a new ballgame, depending on what kind of car you're looking for. In previous years you'd see tons of ads on TV this time of year noting really big discounts and now you generally see them only for cars that aren't all that appealing.

Just purchased a 2024 RX 350 Premium Plus. MSRP was $57,515. Dealer took off $2k but had a $1k dealer fee (typical in Florida). Between this, a fair trade value, and the 2.49% APR for 48 months, I feel really good about the deal.
