Just purchased a 2024 RX Premium Plus. MSRP was $57,515. Dealer took off $2k but had a $1k dealer fee (typical in Florida). Between this, a fair trade value, and the 2.49% APR for 48 months, I feel really good about the deal.
Here on Vancouver Island the only Lexus dealership currently has five 500h models on the lot. A couple of months ago there was no inventory of any hybrid models.
At my local dealerships, there are plenty of RX350H and RX500H. I’m sure you can get close to 8-10% discount on the RX500H as each dealership has more than 10(some even showing 20) in stock. I think Lexus has over hyped the 500H. RX350H also can be discounted as well.
RX450H+ are still coming in slowly and each one has been sold.
I’m starting to see a healthy number of vehicles in stock again. LX600 used to have a 10k markup and never in stock. Now each dealership has at least 5 on the lot.
Just picked up my 2024 RX 500H F Sport for $72K(-$14000 for my trade...a 2019 Yukon XL with 210K miles on it). So with taxes etc bout $62K. I usually put about 30K miles a year on my cars with being a traveling RN. I turned down the Wheel/tire package(they wanted $1500 for 4 years) but I did take the Platinum extended warranty bc i put so many miles on my cars) at $2200 for 4 years and 125K miles. Thank God i took the extended warranty on that Yukon XL bc 1 blew thru 2 transmissions and they were $6K a piece and took 5 weeks each to get shipped and installed..... but both covered under extended warranty as was the fuel injectors and some electronics....so that well paid for itself. Im posting the Moroney for others to see.
No matter how much research i do i always feel like i am getting screwed at the dealer even after owning more than 10 cars in my life......and i drive for a living the last 30+ years so that's hard to handle....but....overall dealership was very professional and not pushy at all and i did like only dealing with 1 person the whole way through including financing and options. They did "try" to work with me on my trade but were much more non-flex about the MSRP. I cant even imagine what its like trying to get a TX 500h F sport(my first choice).
I bought my 2024 RX 350 Base AWD with options about two weeks ago.
$54,955.00 Sticker -$2,000.00 Discount
$52,955.00 -$14,000.00 Trade 2013 RX 350Premium with 132,000 miles that was in an accident. Decent car but KBB buyer only wanted to pay me $11,500.00.
$38955.00 +$3311.00 Tax
$42,266.00 @ 2.49% financing
Hi I'm new to this thread.. I'm about to purchase a 24 Rx500h Fsport and the dealer is giving me 6k off msrp of 73720. The car is fully loaded. I'm trading my 20 Hyundai palasade limited. They only offered me 30k for my car and its paid for i have title in hand. Is this a fair offer for my trade in? I think they are low balling me on the trade. What you guys think?
A quick Google search shows a few 2020 Hyundai palisade retailing for $30-$35k, so depending in mileage, condition, color, maintenance, etc, it seems pretty reasonable. Hyundai's are not typically know for hold their value long term..

Go to caredge.com and get a free offer online with no obligation. I sold my vehicle to Car Gurus through their site in got an offer for more than the MSRP of the original sticker. It also depends on the state. I live in VA and they don't allow a sales tax credit on a trade to a dealer so there was no advantage to take a low ball offer from the dealer. Your trade should be negotiated as a completely separate transaction from the new car sale. Neither transaction should affect the other.

Dealer typically cannot match offers from carvana or carmax. I’d compare offers from those venues and go with the highest bid.
