Default 2x 2024 rx500h f sport performance purchase

Bought 2 500s 2 weeks ago.

1st deal
$15500 for 2015 basic rx350 with 73k and 2 accidents
$72,725 MSRP 24 500 performance with ML, panoramic roof, triple beam, white/black
19010 zip code, dealer had 8 24s and 2 23s
$5500 off MSRP

2nd deal
$52K for 2022 rx450h f sport handling, white red, ML panoramic roof triple beam MSRP $62,100 car with 13k
$72,145 MSRP 24 500 performance with ML panoramic roof triple beam black red
$6500 off MSRP

Little over $13k out of pocket for a car that MSRP almost $10k more. I think I came out pretty good.
19020 zip code dealer had 12 24s and 3 23s left.

Second dealership was easiest to work with. In and out in 45 minutes.

Picked up my 24 RX500h yesterday cloudburst grey with red interior. Love it so far. Glad to be part of the RX family now. Traded my 20 Hyundai Palisade Limited. There is truly no comparison.

I am confused on if a CA dealer can Lease a vehicle to an out of state buyer in NV. I have two dealers in CA that I have spoken with. One says he can't do a lease on a 2024 RX 450h+ because I am out of state, tells me it is against some law and they could get in trouble for doing it. The other claims sure we can, we do it all the time. I want to take advantage of the $7500 Lexus Lease credit. Wish I could find that same vehicle in NV but there does not seem to be any available at this time.

Any good dealers in the central NJ / Monmouth County area? Looking for the luxury trim.

I am new to Leasing. Working on a deal for a 2024 450h+. Leasing to get the $7500 incentive. After asking for a breakdown it looks like the $7500 is only worth $4121 after the money factor and fees are applied. Is this typical? Not sure if I should take it or push back for something better if that is possible. Not sure if the money factor can be negotiated. Update: I spoke with finance, the money factor is 0.00334. I do not know if that is set by Lexus or the dealer just tries out what they think they can get.
Anyone with knowledge of this please advise.

Yes, money factor can be negotiated. Sometimes dealers will tack on more points or sometimes they can shop around different leasing banks with a lower money factor. .00334 is not low, its over 8% interest

Thank you. Will ask them to do better. My credit score is very good so should get a decent rate.

They can do it. Some dealers don't like doing it so they say they can't. It does add a little complexity to the process particularly with taxes.

I have a tentative deal to get a new RX350h Premium from my local dealer who I've bought 2 cars from in the last 2 years. Initially at $5k over MSRP but discounted to $3k over. Usually I can get them to $500 under MSRP (to offset the stupid doc fee) but they wouldn't go below MSRP and it took some talking to get them down there. They are putting in a preference for me on their next allocation for the color I want (Nightfall Mica) with black interior which they said shouldn't be a problem because "no one is preferencing" that color. White is most popular. They aren't able to to spec the car any more than that though but he said it would be equipped like most of all of the other Premiums you see in inventory at around $58k. As every hybrid is sold before they hit the lot, he just can't discount any further. This is understandable.

The good news is it looks like I should be able to get around $50k to sell my 2022 RX450h with 19k miles selling it direct. The trade offer was $36500. Vroom online offer was just under $40k. So even with the sales tax offset it didn't make sense to trade it in other than convenience.

You should widen your search. Get out the door prices from 4 to 5 dealers. You can do this online. I got my Premium + @ MSRP with no dealer addons and that was in Jan 2023. Since the car has been out for almost a year you should be able to get a deal under sticker. Below shows a deal on the caredge.com web site. The number on the left is MSRP and the one on the right is what they paid. Their site gives useful info on how to get better deals and for a small fee they will even help you one on one.

7/7/2023 15:11:11 New Florida 2023 Lexus Rx350h Premium Plus $57,355.00 $55,855.00

Tell me if this makes sense. Someone told me to lease the vehicle to get the $7500 incentive, then buy out the lease as soon as it is possible. Would that actually save any money? I am not able to tell as the lease has so many added fees that I think by the time I did this it would not be an advantage. Or maybe only a small advantage. My credit union tells me I would have to wait 45 days to attempt this. Anybody done this, did it save an amount worth the effort?

Not getting any discounts on a RXh in Houston. Attitude from the dealers here seems to be that they're doing me a favor by selling to me at full price + overpriced dealer installed add-ons for a car that won't even be delivered for another 2 months.

Seems to be the norm with some exceptions, I paid full MSRP late Jun and the wife just got a UXh also at full MSRP. There is only one Lexus dealer on Van Island. The good news was that they took off the dealer add on without any fuss. Trade was the only leverage and I was able to get the full amount I wanted for the RX and UX with a bit of back and forth. When I negotiated for the wife's UX we got to $500 difference of what I wanted at which time they said "its only $500" in which I replied "your right its only $500 and I just paid full MSRP, back to you". I got the extra $500. Cheers
