1st deal
$15500 for 2015 basic rx350 with 73k and 2 accidents
$72,725 MSRP 24 500 performance with ML, panoramic roof, triple beam, white/black
19010 zip code, dealer had 8 24s and 2 23s
$5500 off MSRP
2nd deal
$52K for 2022 rx450h f sport handling, white red, ML panoramic roof triple beam MSRP $62,100 car with 13k
$72,145 MSRP 24 500 performance with ML panoramic roof triple beam black red
$6500 off MSRP
Little over $13k out of pocket for a car that MSRP almost $10k more. I think I came out pretty good.
19020 zip code dealer had 12 24s and 3 23s left.
Second dealership was easiest to work with. In and out in 45 minutes.
You did great. The dealer near me has a load of RXs in stock including 500s, FSports and standard in all trims. Only a handful of 350 hybrids. But all of the NON-hybrids and 500hs are ADVERTISED with hefty dealer discounts - some up to 10%.
Tell me if this makes sense. Someone told me to lease the vehicle to get the $7500 incentive, then buy out the lease as soon as it is possible. Would that actually save any money? I am not able to tell as the lease has so many added fees that I think by the time I did this it would not be an advantage. Or maybe only a small advantage. My credit union tells me I would have to wait 45 days to attempt this. Anybody done this, did it save an amount worth the effort?
You must be talking about the PHEV. It sounds like you could come out ahead this way, but I don't know. You have to do the math.

That's pretty good. In the Phoenix area there aren't any hybrids on dealer lots so there is just no reason to discount anything. But if you're actually seeing inventory then they are going to be more willing to deal. Phoenix Lexus dealers have never been competitive. Still, the out-of-state deals are not going to be competitive enough to justify the hassle and costs as you eat up $500-1000 in shipping or traveling and other costs and I don't think they're going to be giving any decent discounts.
Has anyone bought a RX recently (gas or hybrid) that was on the dealer's lot and been able to negotiate off the cost of the dealer add-ons without having to leverage a trade in? I saw a 2023 gas RX350 listed on dealer's website out of state but it's showing $2,500 of dealer add-ons over the sticker price and I was surprised. I thought most hybrids are selling at MSRP in Oct-Dec 2023, but gas RX350 selling under MSRP. The window sticker online is dated Sept/Oct so seems they've had this one on their lot for a while.
When I bought my hybrid in Jun the dealer advised me that they would negotiate off MSRP if I bought a ICE off the lot. I passed as the whole reason that I traded my MDX was to get better mpg. Of course no idea how much they were willing to reduce. Cheers
Lexus Beverly Hills has 26 allocated, in transit or in stock, with 8 in stock. The in stock inventory is discounted $3500+. They are one of the few dealers that will show dealer adjustments on their web site.

Just for reference. I was at Steven's Creek in San Jose 3 days ago and they only will sell for MSRP right now. I'm in the market as well for Plug-in hybrid. It was soo smooth to drive.
We are interested in buying a RX350 h and have found a Luxury Model at $68,000 before tax. This includes advanced park and an AC outlet. They also have a Premium with a 10” screen.
I’m wondering if the Luxury model is worth the extra $$ or should I continue to search for a Premium +. I’d prefer the 14” screen.
I noticed a number of dealers have a lot of inventory of non-hybrid Lexus RX like somewhere in the neighborhood of 64 at one dealership, and 48 at another dealership in our area.
I know it's turbo 4 engines now, are they selling in your areas?
Last November I bought new 2023 Rx350 luxury for $11k under MSRP @ 2.49% for 48 months. I negotiated via text and phone with several dealerships. Transferred my old plates/registration so asked for discounted doc fee and advised the dealer that DMV said they can’t charge me more then what the DMV charges for fees. I think I got a good deal…what do you think?

I purchased my '24 450H+ from Putnam Lexus (RWC) in Oct/Nov '23 when it was first released and markups were crazy at $10-$12K, which some customers apparently paid. I managed to get it down to $3K, which I thought was a good deal, but it's lower now, so pays to be patient. Got this info when I picked up my spare key which arrived last week (3 months wait time).
On a side note, the spare key had to be programed and I got an NX350h loaner. Some thoughts:
When I was looking at cars last year, I was coming from a '16 RAV 4 and was sure I'd get the NX as I didn't need such a large vehicle (solo driver for the most part). However, when I sat in an NX Premium in the showroom, I felt it was cramped (I'm 6ft tall) and interior finishes were one notch below what you'd expect in a Lexus cabin. There was a copious amount of shiny black plastic around the shifter, screen and A/C vents, which I didn't like at all. Therefore, I decided to go for the RX (also has this ugly plastic trim)
Had the NX loaner for a day so made the necessary seat adjustments to make it as comfortable as I could for my 50 min commute. Have to admit the NX is a lot more fun to drive than the RX: lighter, more responsive and sportier overall. And this was with the 350H; I'm sure the 450H+ would feel like a rocket and the cabin would look pretty much like the RX since both are in Luxury trim
Only downside to the NX is that it's a little tight in the rear seats. Not a problem if you're a solo driver or have small kids
Moral of the story: I should have taken more time to test drive both vehicles with equivalent trims, as I may have purchased the NX450H+ given the slightly zippier drive experience. Test driving was tough last year as these things were being picked up by customers before they even arrived at the dealership, but anyone looking this year should have an easier time doing the RX 450H+ vs NX 450H+ comparison.
Nevertheless, love my RX and just have to put it into Sport mode when I feel like having some fun.
