Apart from fuel efficiency of the Hybrid, I havent test driven to get a feel of how the 2 powertrains drive. My other concern was that the ICE is a new engine while the Hybrid is old battle tested one and some folks say would be easier to maintain? Planning to hold on to a new RX for at least 10 years. For the rest we dont care much, except maybe panoramic roof that my wife wants for the open feel.

The new ICE RX is a 275-hp turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine.

The RX used to be a V6 but the new engine has more torque.

Unless you needed the space, the NX isn't too much different of a vehicle but RX has conventional tires, more space and spare tire.

I like the RX, sat in it (2023 350h) once on a short drive . I wouldnt want anything smaller (family of 4). Just trying to figure cost fuel & maintenance and maybe how they drive differently. I guess i'll set up a test drive for both and see. Unfortunately I have little time these days during weekday daytime.

Edit: By how they drive differently i mean the Turbo vs natually aspirated with Hybrid. Different reviews have different takes on them, some saying the Hybrid is smoother.

The hybrid is indeed silky smooth with the CVT. My wife test drove one today and we reserved the one we wanted. It's being built and scheduled to arrive next month.

Default Sales of RX 450h+

I had been monitoring the inventory and sales of this model the last few weeks, and between February 10 and February 27, net inventory increased by 10%, while total sold increased by 19%.in the US.

I thought this was interesting, and seems to indicate that it is still selling ok. Not sure what the actual days on lot is, but I would say in the 40 to 50 days range.

I had been watching ours (24 RX350 AWD Lux) while it was in transit (built Feb 13) as it was the one in our area that checked all the boxes. It had only been on the lot for a day or so when we did the test drive and gave the "We'll take it." Had some challenges making the calendars work, but pick up tomorrow. Probably left some meat on the bone but did a decent enough deal on the RX and trade.

For the RX 450h+, I have been keeping track of the sales and availability of the model using allocation sheets.

Over a 1 month period, net availability increased by only 7%, but sales rose 30%.

This may indicate good demand for this model.

Very interesting. What site are you using to monitor these sales?

I drove the 24 NX (hybrid) and I felt the road more and also more noise / nvh; I have a 21 RX 450h and also drove the new 4 cylinder RX (both hybrid and plug-in). The NX didn't seem as refined in comparison to the RX even though I really liked the dashboard / interior. Others have mentioned the same thing. General rule of thumb, the longer the wheelbase the smoother the ride, and also if they use sound-deadening materials and double-pane or acoustic windows, even better. But it is a matter of personal preference. Test drive both back to back and you will see if the differences matter to you personally.

I am using an online allocation sheet for the RX 450h+

It shows current availability and sales on different tabs, changes everyday

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...#gid=907135568

I have my own spreadsheet where I plug in each daily value.

I started doing this Feb 10, and ended it March 10

Wow! This is awesome. Would love to see this kind of data for the TX 550h+ and the GLE 450e - these are the three cars that I'm considering to replace my RX 450h...

Question Is it normal now to have no wiggle room for negotiation for RX350H?

Trying to buy the 2024 RX 350H Premium Plus, but no dealer is giving any deals. 2 years ago when I bought 2022 RX450H I got a 5k discount.. Is that the norm now to not have any deals??

On a 2024 RX350H sticker, plus a free car wash, is about as good as you are going to get. I was offered 3k off a new Tundra today....They had ten on the lot!

Your 2022 RX450H with 5K off was a good deal....You will get a great offer to trade that in! Or should!

In my area I have two large dealers both owned by the same family. They have no hybrids on their lot. I just picked mine up today and I waited 5 months for it. You can walk on the lot and pick your 350 gas model and get a discount on it.
