Same. We’ve got 5000 miles on ours. It almost sounds like the hybrid generator or that area of the engine bay.

Mine is not a hybrid. Definitely feel it is grill. Due for service shortly. Will see what they say

This isn’t good! My last RX had electrical issues they could never resolve. If it gets worse I may sell it. I use this car for a lot of highway driving. Really annoying.

Was this issue ever resolved? Experiencing on our March23 build (non hybrid). Definitely air flow related at speeds above 60mph

I’m having the exact same noise. I have taken the car to the dealership twice. Diagnostic person rode with me the second time. He could hear what I was talking about. He said he would drive a different RX. Service person called me back and said it does the same thing in another RX. That’s just the way the sound. It’s very annoying.

Have a similar issue. The noise seems to come from the front right passenger side on mine. Took it to the dealer and was able to reproduce. They replaced the wheel bearing but the noise is still there. driving in wet weather seems to reduce the noise and it only comes on at higher speeds 80+mph vs dry weather comes on at about 73Mph.

I really hope they figure this one out at some point; it's one of those things you can't unhear once you do. The tech that drove with me also thought maybe RF wheel bearing, too, but they couldn't find anything when they had it up on the lift. We agreed it likely is wind turbulence or panel resonance under the car, but even he said they have no idea where to begin with that.

Is this is an inherent flaw (appears that way) I'd like to know how it got past the testing phase. Someone must have noticed the problem.

I experienced this same noise with regular gas RX loaner car and I noticed the loaner car had mud flaps on it. Mine doesn't and I don't have this sound, do all you have the mud flaps installed? Maybe that is making the sound the air around wheel?

I have mud flaps and no unusual noise. It's one of the quietest cars I've ever driven.

I think this issue is definitely linked to the air intake having a reverberating effect on the front grill and/or underbody paneling. The only time the noise has been absent when driving at higher speeds was when my grill was covered in so much snow and ice to disrupt the airflow passing through.

No, no mud flaps on mine and nothing aftermarket anywhere on it.

Just had mine in for this issue. Tech wasn't sure what the noise was but confirmed hearing it. He was going to call the Lexus Field Engineer to see what he's seen/heard and if there is a resolution. Mine starts between 58 and 63 mph. The thing that makes me believe it's not wind and possibly inverter or hybrid related is that it's a constant noise and not variable. There is no pitch to it, just a steady hum or drone. When i drive faster it does not get louder. We looked at the hybrid screen and could not see any immediate correlation with the drive mode/cycle that the car was in.
