Thank You! This is golden- I sent this screenshot to my SA- should be able to hone right in on it now.

Funny that I didn't see any air deflector shields behind the bumper, just a hollow dead space which is why we said it was making the "coke bottle" sound. I have to look again.

I looked up the part number shown in the above post. It seems those pieces sit on the sides. Mine is in the shop right now, I plan on having the technician show me exactly where that is located, and will contain to pursue this with Lexus with the hope that a permanent fix becomes available.

OK, let me look there then, I wasn't looking along the edges.

I’ve put on 400 miles since the repair. Zero issues. The problems seems to be solved. It’s whisper quiet at any speed now.

This is great to read; I was holding off getting mine looked at again until someone confirmed the fix was effective, longer-term. Hopefully there is a TSB in the system for the issue/fix by now. Thanks for the update!

Default Noise problem seems solved

It's early but I am optimistic. Initial quick evaluation by tech was "no noise noted" but have a fantastic salesman who advocated for me so got tech to take car home a few days and had a manager drive it so was confirmed. Sounds like (pun intended) the same fix as yours- application of some form of tape. I researched this since my invoice includes a part number for a Toyota "Noise Kit" which leads me to believe that weird noises can present periodically on all kinds of models and this usually fixes it.

Also seems like a very small number of these cars are affected. I've read over 110,000 of these have been delivered and in searching all the social media I can find have found maybe 15+ that have this issue.

Apparently, contacting the field engineer as jsch222 has suggested takes an act of congress or at least the express permission of the top service manager, so not sure if they did that or not.

If anyone is at a dead end with this noise problem, and the attached invoice doesn't get your dealer motivated, message me directly and I will put you directly in touch with my SA here in Dallas.

Thank you again JSCH for sharing your experience.

My first visit to the shop @ 5,000 miles resulted in the tech stating that he could not duplicate. I've had several Lexus in the past and know the service folks very well. You need to ask for the SHOP FOREMAN to take ride with you in order to duplicate. The tech who does your 5k oil change is trying to turn and burn so they can make as much money as possible. It's not worth their while to spend diagnosing your car. Most shop foreman are salaried employees of the dealership and care. My local dealer has two that both have 25+ years experience. After 15 min drive with the foreman he confirmed the noise. he called the field engineer the next week and then they called me to bring it back for a fix. Like anything else.....you have to know how to navigate the dealership. Yours may be slightly different, but i've used this cadence a few times with issues over the years.

Agree, good to know, think I'm figuring mine out. I've been using the "take all the time you need" and also providing them with as much information as possible tactics, that and being completely reasonable and accomodating. Having these issues sucks but it's a known risk with a new model design. Lexus has proven their worth in how they have handled my issues, which can stop any time now lol.

Hi friends thank goodness I found this thread regarding this annoying problem. I was beginning to think I was crazy. I have an RX500h and I have exactly the same problem, the sound starts to appear from the front bonnet from 126 - 130km/h it's really a very annoying sound.
I've already been to the dealership about this problem and they looked at me like I was crazy and told me to try turning off the active engine sound. It hasn't changed. Now I know thanks to you that I am not alone and I hope they will find a solution. Because driving on the highway is really unpleasant in this car :/ Thanks and I send a quick solution from the Czech Republic

Officially put on 1k miles since the fix. No more noise. I’m fortunate to have good dealer support who’s willing to put in the time and find a resolution.

I just got back from a weekend road trip (5 hours each way), super quiet now, and very grateful for your help.

Default 2024 RX 350 AWD same noise

So thankful I found this thread! I heard a noise the 2nd week after getting the car. (I've had it 6 weeks now). Luckily the technician heard the sound. Figured it was the wheel bearing so he replaced it. On my 2 hour drive home guess what? Sound was back. I'm going to share this thread with the SA to see about the suggestions here. I really thought I was going crazy.
