If you plan to keep the car long term, the 2023 resale value will be a wash compared to a 2024. But if you plan to keep it only a few years, you will likely recover that $2000 on a 2024 trade in. No matter when you buy it, the 2023 is still a one year old car already for the purpose of a trade in.

Any other differences in packages? The 2024 comes with Pano roof, heated/ventilated and powered rear seats standard compared to the 2023 model ($1,730 worth of additions).

This is not an AWD Luxury, but I go over a base 2024 RX350 - where I point out there is no difference between a MY23 or a MY24.

If you're leasing, take the 2023 and dont buy it.

If you're buying, the RX takes a huge hit in resale value in its first year and your car the moment you sign the contract will be worth a solid 12-15K less than what you paid.
