When the adaptive high beam system is enabled, what does the purple "high beam" indicator imply? Mine turns ON and OFF every now and then but I can't figure out whether it meant it turned on the high beam automatically or it means something else. Below example, I'm following a car and there are reasonable street lights. I would have expected the headlight to operate in low beams but that high beam indicator is still ON. It is irritating that I can't figure out what it meant. Now I am more irritated because I went driving in a dark area (to test this feature) and just realised I killed lots of bugs !! Have to wash the car again
In Canada the Adaptive High beam on indicator is blue and it means that the High adaptive beam is on. The system will illuminate sections of the road that are not lit and don't blink anyone. If you have fog lights on you can see when the blue indicator comes on, fog lamps turn off
