Default Great Wiper Washer Fluid Application

After a full year of ownership, I just discovered how the windshield cleaning fluid applies nicer than prior cars/Lexuses. I was driving in the highway in light mist and thought the fluid was empty. But I realized the windshield was cleaning nicely. It’s still not clear how it spritzes so well, but it’s another Lexus improvement that I just noticed.

It dribbles out of the wipers. I dont like it tbh, because it always leaves a streak of water on the downstroke.

The sprayers are mounted to the wiper arm next to the wiper and spray directly down in front of the wiper as it moves from right to left..

They are very efficient and I have used much less fluid. Agreed on the streak left on the passenger side.

I do miss the spray for its anti tailgating feature. 😮

The spray pattern is nice, but I find I had to add a windshield washer cleaner booster solution to actually get the glass clean.

Same here, it comes with like water! A dose of Kristall added and it cleans like crazy.

You made me snarf my coffee up my nose!

A co-worker turned his rear nozzle upward, to enable punishing tailgaters.

When you guys say spray pattern, what are you referring to?

On my 500H, there is no spray pattern. The fluid just kind of appears as the wipers move.

You can also add a teaspoon of dish soap to the washer tank, it works great and it's free!

There is a pattern, it's just sprayed right in front of the wiper as it moves from right to left so you cant see it.
