Default Roof rack recommendations?

On my 2023 rx350 there are 4 covered slots on the 2 roof trims for lack of a better word. Is there a recommendation for a roof rack? Thanks.

Non panoramic roof. Just regular moon roof.

Nope, OEM bars don’t work with the pano roof. The roof hits them. It was discussed before here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...amic-roof.html

Thule is the only brand that has a confirmed fit that I feel comfy with. I have been holding out waiting for a sale or something because I do not immediately need it at this time. It is a brand new fit kit and foot pack.

My 2023 RX350 came with the bars and I had the dealer remove them because I would never use them and I don’t like the looks. Unfortunately I could not get the dealer to deduct them from the agreed purchase price. So I have them in my garage.

I went with Thule, it was easy to install. I would wait for their 25% off.

Kit 187159 Model number 7159
Thule WingBar Edge Model number 721520
Thule WingBar Edge Model number 721420
Thule Edge Fixpoint Model number 720701

So if you have a pano roof, are there any other options for a roof rack?

Hi,

Yes pano roof, I have a Thule roof box so didn't research other brand. Also at the time of purchase, not many options to choose from. Thule was the only website that I was able to confirm compatibility so I went with it.

thx

Thanks for this, I’m also in the market for cross bars. You have to buy each part separately? How did you check for compatibility before buying? Their website doesn’t seem to have current gen RX. Also which cargo box do you have?

you can use this site to check - https://www.thule.com/en-us/roof-rack/car-roof-racks
each part separately but the site will tell you which is compatible you can pick your own combo.

Thule Force XT XL size is my cargo box, carryover from my previous car.

I noticed that yesterday as well. They fixed the site. It should be there now 2023+.
