If you have named your RX, what's it's name. I'm looking for a cool name for mine.

I like the way you think. I upgraded from an NX that I called Nexi, so I was thinking Rexi for my RX.

How about “MY CAR”? It’s worked for me for over 50 years. Every couple years I change cars. But the name always sticks. My wife’s car is also named “MY CAR”. The only inanimate thing that I have ever named is Alexa. But Amazon actually named it.

I call the RX 450h+, "the RX", and the Prius IV, "the Prius" whenever I talk about them as well.

They're not alive...saying that, people do develop a fondness and attachment to their car (which I do as well), so I can understand people naming them.

Years ago my Saab mechanic told me never to get sentimental about a car, it's just a chunk of metal and plastic, he said. Can't argue. We only differentiate between the cars with names (e.g. Pearl White) since both cars are Rxs.

I'll be honest. I can argue that it actually is kinda enjoyable to become sentimental over a car. Sure it's just made of non-living material, but it usually is tied to good memories in which it played a good part. In other words, there is no harm to becoming attached to it, and certainly lotsa benefits.

I hear what you're saying, but years ago when my Volvo (which I liked) cost me about $5000 in one year I was hardly sentimental about it.
