Premium+ here. 1 year old, 10K miles... no bubbling. Always run seat cooling/heating on low setting.

Default Seat bubble going on third visit

With the help of this thread in the forum I found out that I have bubble seat on driver side.

In may went to the dealer for my second oil change, and I show them my bubble seat (first)

The guy told me to come back in 2 weeks, they will order the lower part of the driver seat

In my mind I thought it was a one peace.

So 2 weeks later, left the car for the day for the change

Took the car and didn’t take the time to look at the change
So, a few days later I noticed nothing I’ve been done.

I went again at the dealer, who explained to me that they change the cover of the seat, but as he and I can see, the change haven’t make any difference.

So the guy at the dealer told me to leave the car again for a day, and he will put is best guy on this problem.

Left the car yesterday and just a few minutes ago got my car back
The specialist said, they have to order a new cover and a new foam.
Next visit will be July 19.

I still wondering why they decided to go by a small step instead of ordering all the package and fix the problem on the first time.

Is it because of the protocol in the car industrie to spend less $ as possible on after sale service and even hope that the customer will forget about it, like a placebo.

I am Canadian, still love the car a RX350h
my trim is the one just under the top pf
the line, in USA is the premium +
interior is black

what I noticed lately because I travel with some bodies for golf, on the passager seat I had a person for about 2 hours,,when he left I saw a bubble on the seat, but few hour later the bubble disappeared
it seem that the foam of the seat as a memory and came back naturally on the normal condition
So by deduction my driver seat the foam seem tombe damage and don’t return the way it should be, and leave a bubble

Hope the next visit will fix the problem

Just arrived from my third visit at the dealer for a bubble seat.

this time they change the foam and the cover of the driver seat.

So far, so good

what i noticed the foam seem a bit different from the original, the middle seem the same but both sides a much harder.

No change for the confort, but with harder side on the foam, that help the cover to be more tight.

During all this process i had some rental car as ES350, gas version of RX350 and NX350.
i was impressed by the car, handling was way better since my last road (2010)

for the suv, more noisy than the RX350h, the e-cvt is way more smooth than the transmission on those both suv.
