As much as I like my new 2024 Lexus RX350h, I wish it looked a bit more sporty. Since I didn't like the F-Sport (only Black or Red interior) and the F-Sport didn't come in a hybrid, I decided to go a different route. So after two months of ownership, I've had my windows tinted, swapped out the stock 19 inch wheels for some MSW Type 48 wheels and painted my brake calipers red. Have a look.
Thanks! Yeah, I think it makes a difference in the appearance. It wasn't too hard either. Just a lot of spraying, waiting to dry, spraying again, waiting to dry, putting on a couple coats of gloss, waiting to dry and then putting on a ceramic coating. On second thought, it was a pain! LOL

Looks good but I prefer the look of the 21" wheels. Love the red calipers. You know there is an FSport hybrid - the 500h.

Yeah, I LOVE the 500h F-Sport, but I didn't "love" the price.
I was actually thinking of getting the F-Sport 21" black wheels, but can't find them for a reasonable price. Also, that means I'd have to get new 21" tires as well and that's going to add up. Not sure it's worth it for me at this time.

It would look gorgeous with those 21" wheels but I get it.
Android auto is wired only (at least in Australia). If I forget to plug in the phone then I don't have a connection to the car (unless i change the configuration to bluetooth (resulting to panic mode when someone calls while driving)
Only Android Auto and Carplay supported apps works
Being old school, I keep on looking for the clock in the middle console!!
So I bought this device carlinkit. Now my infotainment looks like this
There a few quirks on this device (like it takes a minute to start-up) but I am happy with the UI.
