Lightbulb Restore Seat Setting after Scheduled Maintenance

Hi Everyone,
I lose the seat setting every time I have a maintenance done at Lexus. It happened at 5K and now at 10K.
Dealer keeps saying they do not reset anything but I think somehow they either connect their handheld computer to the car or reset something that makes the seat lose its memory.
They could not figure it out, but I did.
What is happening is that the Keyfob is not recognized as a linked key, so as soon as you open the car door the seat keeps going down and back. I have all of the exit convenience features turned off, so that is noy the issue.
What you need to do is unlink the key, turn off the car, step out, lock the car with the keyfob. Then unlock the car, turn on the car, adjust your seat, link the keyfob, and then all is fixed.

I have been signing out to guest mode when dropping off the vehicle. That way if they do mess with the seat, it's not on my profile. Then I sign back when I pick up. Not sure if the does anything but have not had any issues.

OMG - Oh My God, you are absolutely correct. I will do that going forward. That way the key linked with our profile does not get messed up.
Thank You
