The middle passenger is tight and it made it somewhat of a challenge to find the receiver for the belt buckle. Foot room was pretty tight sitting behind the front console, and of course the center seat is certainly higher and harder. I suspect it may be OK for a very slender adult or child but I wouldn’t wish it on any adult that I know for anything more than a short ride.

Edit: I need to qualify this reply. My experience/opinion is based on the 2021 RX.
Thank you! I will check a friend's 4th Gen 450 to get an idea.

I don't see a 'sale pending' on the listing, so it is for sale, but it would be a tough sell being a FWD. I have a feeling they might turn it into a demo or loaner.

Just did a spec check on 2023 RXs. it is interesting that a $70,000 car does not have a navigation which only costs $100. are we going backward?
* I know that they have "Cloud Navigation"!!!!! that you have to pay $20 per month for it to subscribe.

maybe they want us to use apple carplay. At least in the US there have unlimited data plans which is kind of unheard of here

Everyone uses WAZE. The native nav systems are becoming obsolete.

Only the Destination Assistant (whatever that is) says it requires a subscription.

using Navigation requires "Drive Connect" which is paid subscription (it is in user manual)

no really, most of the time we just need to see a map when we turn on the car (the way we had it for 20-30 years), besides what happens if you have no signal.
relying too much on newer technology is not a good idea.

The faq says:

A Drive Connect subscription is required to have the Intelligent Assistant feature. It enhances the standard Assistant which comes readily available on select model year 2022 or newer vehicles. The Intelligent Assistant offers additional capabilities such as, notifications sent to the vehicle based on user preferences and vehicle geolocation. Enhancements and learned behavior capabilities are available real-time via cloud-base services. Intelligent Assistant also offers expanded voice commands throughout Cloud Navigation, Phone and Vehicle settings.

What is the standard assistant that comes "readily available", which I assume means without subscription?

this is the link to get 2023 RX user manual:
http://s3.amazonaws.com/lexus.site.t...U/OM0E102U.pdf
check page 132

also check FAQ here:
https://www.lexus.ca/lexus/en/know-y...ination-assist

All of them indicate that you have to pay $20 plus tax per month if you want to use Navigation.

Default The build is now available on the Lexus web site on the 350h

The 2023 350h premium + awd with hud, panoramic view monitor, digital key and rear view mirror list at $57,425. I am #100 on their waiting list. Wife is finally receiving her 2023 NX350h with same options that is $52,200. $5,000 more for an RX seems very reasonable.

How does that compare to the nav systems in the competitor cars in this segment? GLE, X5, MDX, etc. This was something I didn't realize I needed to research - I knew you needed a subscription for real time traffic and the like, but the basic navigation system on a $60K car should work standalone.

I just placed an order for the exact same car. Dealer says about 4 months out. My dealer also tacks on $10k over MSRP. Hate that!!
