Looks Great, The photo gives the illusion that the inside of the car if filled with roofing mix. A thank you to our Canadian mates who produced our RX's for the USA.

Default Wife's new new RX350PP

Picked up the wife's new Copper Crest RX350pp on Saturday. Could not work a deal with the local Dealership, so drove 3.5 hrs to Dallas and got treated to true customer service. Now tint and 3m clear bra

Just traded in my 2011 Obsidian Ls460 for a 2023 rx500h in Caviar. Absolutely loving the new vehicle and color combination. Had my name on a list at my local lexus dealer since october for this vehicle and it finally came in. Couldnt be happier with the purchase and experience so far.

That is one hot car, DuneDain. I have a 23 350h in caviar, and I am having the chrome deleted to make it look more like yours. Congrats, and good luck with it.

Yass fellow RX in Caviar owner here too! Are you simply wrapping it in vinyl for the chrome delete?

I am just getting rid of the chrome around the windows and the rear side. The photo below is from a guy who had it done to his. Mine is luxury so the wheels are different and darker than the ones in this pic.

swoop. Also, the chrome strip on the two outside mirrors. It will be a piano black tape to cover the chrome. I want the 500h F Sport look but with the pewter color luxury wheels.

Picked up a 2023 RX500h F-Sport a week ago.

We were browsing the dealer lot, deciding whether to order an RX for future delivery, when they mentioned having a never-registered 'show car' with 3000 miles, driven by the nearby Lexus Zone Office. It was Copper Crest as in most of the brochures of course.

Bought it off the lot, at a bit of a discount amazingly, with a full factory warranty from our in-service date!

So far we drove it to-and-from a weekend trip, 275 miles each way, while getting used to all the 'nannies' the RX contains. Sheesh!

Only washed it once so far...a lot of nooks and crannies to clean. (I'm a bit OCD when it comes to clean cars)

Congrats and welcome to the 500h family, I'm sure the passing speed on the 500H was fun haha. Yeah im a bit of OCD too and discovered the bug spatter on the radiator grill, how are we suppose to clean that off?! haha

Soak first (I 'rinse' the wheels and the grill, and the backside of the side mirrors) then use a soft-bristle brush to 'get into' the matrix.
Not perfect, but with the car washes I use (that include some wax, they bead water) the little buggers don't stick as tenaciously.

And, a hand held, battery powered blower, gets a good deal of the drip-causing water out of the cross-hatch.

Don't use synthetic brushes, they will leave swirl marks in the paint. A horse hair brush will work good but make sure it doesn't pick up any grit otherwise again you'll leave marks.

Default Lost one, gained one.

After this, waited almost 2 months for insurance/body shop to make their final findings.

Wifey is so happy. I'm teaching her daily on the car's featutes as there's a lot to cover. I did all the tech prep before she left instead of the Lexus technician as I had the time while waiting for them to finish for the other customers.

Gonna have xpel ultimate and ceramic tinting next week, and possibly caliper painting too. Are the factory calipers coated for rust prevention? I emailed Lexus service to inquire about this.

Calipers are painted stock. Nothing special though.

Factory painted but heat resistant that doesn't come off easily right? Our last 2 cars I have had calipers painted so not sure what it is from factory.

I have the 23 RX 350h in Caviar also. But, my calipers are aluminum color. Don't look painted or coated. Probably are, but not a color.
