I'm sure some of you won't like it, but I love it. I think the car looks much more sporty now. I've never liked the swoop of chrome on the last few years of RX's. Especially on darker paint, it looks like a hearse. So today,
I had all the chrome blacked out.
Been waiting a long time, I was one of the earliest posters on the 5RX list with a pre-order going back a long time. Finally picked it up today, the seemingly elusive (in the northeast at least) white/macadamia/luxury trim model.
Came to the local Lexus dealer to get a value of my old 4th gen RX350 (was thinking about buying Tesla). Two days later, drove off the lot on a new RX500h.
1. 500h
2. With a Navi (unlike the previous gen it does not show the exit information while driving on major highways)
3. White on black (really wanted the red interior but either I get what they have or wait for 18+ month)
4/5. Not too many options to pick from here in Canada. You either get nothing or a package with absolutely everything. I went with the second option and got the F Sport 3 pack with all the bells and whistles.

@tecdivingaccountant Awesome ride and loving our 500h as well! What was the deciding factor not getting a Tesla?
Hello Members,
I finally got mine after waiting for 6 months. 1. RX350h, Premium 2. Navigation 3. Iridium / Black 4. Option Packages: Cold Area, Digital RVM, 14 inch display, Heated wood steering, Cargo mat / net, Kick sensor, Traffic Jam Assist.
5. Built in May 2023 in Canada
Notes:
I don't have the dash separation issue. I am hoping that they have already improved the holding clips and this one has it.
I noticed scratches on the infotainment screen, but quickly learned that there is a very clear, invisible film on he screen so the scratch is on the protective film not the actual screen.
I drove it from the dealer for 60 miles in traffic and got 38.5 MPG. Wow!!! They said they had put 91 octane gas in it. I know the user manual says 91 is not necessary but recommended for Hybrid versions.
I need to get used to the roaring sound of the engine when you push it a little.
2nd key within the next 3 months.
My special thanks to all of you who have been putting information of all sorts about this new vehicle. I have been monitoring all threads.
Quality, the looks, convenience, range and the absence of adequate charging options in our condo building.
Our friends got their Model Y last November and they always drull over our 500h to where our other friend bought a 2023 RX 350 F Sport couple months back and yes she loved her RX!
I am the very happy owner of a new 2023 RX 350h Luxury in eminent white pearl with black interior. It happened super fast, as I had just begun to look at new cars to replace my 2018 Acura MDX hybrid. I loved the RX 350h, and was looking for a Premium Plus, but quickly learned that RX hybrids are almost impossible to get. One dealer happened to have this one that had been used the the Lexus executive office, so it had a couple thousand miles on it. Even though it's still considered a new car, and I am the first owner, they did take off a little bit of money because of the miles (extra good, since they are currently charging a $2500 dealer adjustment for the RX 350 hybrids). Apparently, the only reason it was still there was because someone coded it incorrectly when they added it to inventory. Maybe that's a story, but the end result is that I drove away with my perfect car, in my desired color, with almost every option I wanted--and then some--on the day after I started looking. It was meant to be! My RX has the Luxury package, and installed options include the cold area package, digital key, digital rearview mirror, premium triple-beam led headlamps, panorama glass moonroof, power rear door with kick sensor, advanced park, premium paint, panoramic view monitor, traffic jam assist, cargo mat/net/key glove, and door edge guards. The only option I'm disappointed to be missing is the heated/ventilated and power rear seats, although my youngest leaves for college in August, so my days of carting rear passengers are pretty rare these days anyway. So, if i had to lose one option, the rear seats are not a priority for me. This is my first Lexus, and it drives like a dream!
Congrats, sb1520. Sounds like Kismet. It also sounds like your new car is missing virtually nothing. Mine has rear power, heated, and ventilated seats, and I would gladly give them up for a panoramic view monitor that, for some strange reason, isn't on it even though it is a Luxury package.
Thank you! I agree that the panoramic view monitor should be included with the luxury package. Those cameras are standard on so many lesser vehicles, it doesn't make sense that they wouldn't be included in the highest trim level.
I love the blacked out look! It's definitely more sporty. I am not a fan of the chrome swoop, even on my white car. I see lots of luxury cars moving away from the chrome accents in general. I think it's a dated look.
