I must say Congratulations. And you got the best combination of cars (Fast sporty one for the weekend, SUV for the trip and the truck to carry stuff). Enjoy!!!
We just purchased a new 2024 RX350H, Imminent White with Birch interior. We called the Lexus dealers near us in central Florida and were told that no way could we get a white hybrid with light seats. then we got a call an hour later from Clearwater Lexus and our salesman, Israel, said he found one that someone just backed out on at another store and did we want it. We told him we were getting ready to sign papers on a gas RX350 at another dealer so, no thanks. he calls back in 10 minutes and tells me he will knock off 4000 if we sign with them. now, we are at the same price as the gasser. we asked the other dealer to knock off a little and they said no way. of course we said adios and went and picked up the exact car my wife wanted. (makes me a valentine hero) so far, I am really impressed with the quality of this car. we have owned a couple of Infiniti's, couple of BMW, and just about everything else but I'm starting to think we might keep this one a few years.
I have a question, Is Ceramic coating recommended for a new car? I have a shop near me that did my C8 and he tells me that we should get it done when the car is new. he also wants to do all of the interior and the wheels. the car already beads and water runs off very well when it is poured on it so I'm not sold on getting it done right away.
Congratulations!!! Great deal too! I would recommend ceramic coating it when new. Mine is getting the ceramic window tint and full front PPF installed as we speak. I should have it back in the next few days and then off to get it ceramic coated. Makes hand washing the vehicle a breeze.

Great ride indeed, congrats. I have the same question about coating - I got the dealer-forced Cilajet ceramic coating because I got mine just before Christmas and didn't have the time or patience to immediately take it to another place for coating during the holidays.
Is there a better coat that needs to be had on top of the Cilajet for better long-term life ? Or is that good enough ?
Congrats on your new ride, looks great. I had the opposite experience, the one and only dealer on the Island had a white on white coming in which I did not want so I settled on a Nebula Gray with Black that was due in a month. I kept searching other dealers on the mainland for the White on Black to no avail. One week prior to my delivery the sales guy called to tell me that a deal had fallen through that morning and that I had first dibs on the White on Black. Got my colours after all. Cheers.
Congrats, especially getting such a great deal on a hybrid! Guess I'll start looking a little more closely on the dealer stock as I was waiting for the hybrids to be discounted. Just can't get past paying MSRP or above.
Hi all! New owner here of a 2024 RX450h+ in Matador Red on Black.
First time Lexus, first time PHEV.
Don't have a Level 2 charger yet but still been nice plugging in overnight and running EV all day.
Welcome aboard - that's a great, rare color to find - I was wondering if there were anyone on the forum with it. There are many musings from many of us on that model, including on chargers, in this thread

Very nice looking RX, congrats. I would have jumped on that one if I had found one in red. I opted for the boring silver RX450h+ but, I still love the car. My wife's NX450h+ is red so, she's the lucky one. Much easier to find in a large parking lot. Give some thought to plugging your charger into a 240v outlet, if you have access to one. The adapter is easy to use and is not costly and will cut your charging time in half. If you need any further info regarding this, PM me for details, as I am happy to help.
