Is that a RX350 gas engine or 350H Hybrid?

Dealerships still aren't coming off much, if any on RX350 hybrids, so that has to be a gas 350. That was still a good deal to get that much off the gas model IMHO. Dealerships near me definitely have inventory now so buyers have some options. My dealership said buyers are looking the new TX a lot right now.

Yes it was the non-hybrid. The hybrids were very hard to get. Figured since I saved 6k, it would make up for the difference in gas savings. I already had an Audi Q5E hybrid and really wanted a plugin.

How much can I expect off of MSRP now for RX 350 (non-hybrid) especially if the car is in the dealer's lot? In the Boston and suburb area?

Thanks

Websites are showing anywhere between 5%-8% off non hybrid models. As inventory grows you can probably do better.

I got 11% off for my 2023 Nori Green non-hybrid version. Very Happy to apply that to the gas bill.

I got the same discount on my 2023 non-hybrid. Like you, that's a lot of money that could go towards the extra cost of gas so definitely was worth it. It. I had a hybrid before but it was a plug-in. A non plug-in didn't really make sense.

I wonder how long does it take to recoup the $20,000 more for RX450h Plug in VS just the 350h ???

I was looking at a NX450h+, and determined that here in Southern California, it would cost me significantly more to operate the 450h+ at my high electricity rates than it would to run the 350h on gas at $5.20 per gallon. So unless you have cheap electricity rates or solar or can charge for free, you will never recoup the extra upfront cost.

I have solar at home and charge for free at work, but still wouldn't have gone for the 450h+ for the cold math of recouping the cost consideration alone. It was the intangibles of completely noise-free driving in EV mode in everyday commute (90 % of my likely driving miles), helping the environment + oil independence goals to the extent practical (hence not into pure EV), and additional performance/torque/HP when I need/want it - led me to splurge. I also keep cars for long so didn't feel as guilty with the splurge, considering long term ownership.

The dealership was offering enormous discount on the pure EV, and the gas versions, and none on the hybrid or PHEV when I got mine (that speaks of the supply/demand balance). Maybe Toyota was onto something when it didn't go all in with pure EVs like the rest of the pack.

I bought my Lexus-Certified 2023 RX350 Luxury in September of 2023 from San Diego Lexus. Only had 1,600 miles on it - previous owner only had it for three months. Base sticker was $56K, but it had every possible option installed on it, raising the sticker price to $67K. I got it for $56k, so I basically got all of the options free. In addition, it came with the Lexus-Certified 3,000 mile warranty on top of the original manufacturer 60,000 mile warranty as well.

Yup. Most of my local dealerships have less than 10 RX350h's in their lots. Some don't have any!
I was at Pohanka Lexus when I was thinking between RX350 Luxury and RX350h Luxury, and the associate said the hybrids were not part of the special financing promo (4.9% at the time - it's over now) and will probably be harder to negotiate on.
As much as I could probably get a better deal with the non-hybrid, the heart is telling me to go for the hybrid. Guess we'll see what happens.
