I'm getting the non-hybrid n very happy to be doing so. It's all a preference for many valid reasons. The whole spew of it's a no brainer to go w the Hybrid...plss, get outta here w that baloney.

To those who think it’s a no brainer to go with the hybrid, that’s their conclusion after weighing the pros and cons. Others may feel the same about the ICE. All personal preference. There is absolutely no right or wrong answer. It may helpful for the OP if you could quickly list some of the reasons you chose the ICE over the hybrid.

There is room for both hybrid and ICE. Good that we all have a choice, I chose the RX350 hybrid because I wanted to do so.
Lexus is wise enough to let people choose, as they want to sell vehicles to as many as possible.

Exactly what I'm trying to convey w post above. It's just a choice, preference there is No wrong answer. So that means there isn't any No-Brainer decisions. Anyhoo at 63 y.o I'm fortunate that I'm not calculating in my head the whole gas $ difference savings blah blah. My wife wanted the Standard RX350 vehicle and I 100% supported her thought process in how we came to those decisions. Hopefully within next few weeks our vehicle ( its built ) will be at the Dealership. RX350 Luxury -- Black/Black w pretty much all the accessories.
Best of luck to those who are now in possession of the 2023 RX350 n the others like ourselves that are in wait mode as vehicle makes it way to final destination or one becomes available.

Soon, that $4,500 difference will be a distant memory. You’ll notice the difference in mileage every time you fill up or look at the MPG. I have a MDX hybrid now. To me IT’S a NO BRAINER. Especially since besides the lower mileage, you should be using premium.

My personal opinion (coming from a 2021 RX350 to a 2023 RX350h):
1. My husband and I have mentioned multiple times over the month I've owned the car that it is very quiet. I drive a combination of city and highway too. Cabin noise level is a big deal for me as I am hard of hearing. Any background noise makes it difficult for me to understand conversation. I have NO issue at all in my 2023 no matter the driving conditions.
2. I have absolutely no issue at all with the power. It gets out of the way when you need it to just fine. It's not a sports car, but it moves. I haven't missed the 6cy at all.
3. I think it smoother and (see above) quiet.
4. The new RX is actually ~200lbs lighter than the previous generation. That is considerable. A previous reply to your post mentioned that the 4cy have come a long way and I have to agree. I feel like my car is smoother, quieter and has almost no difference in pick up yet I've gone from 19/22 MPG to 34/38 MPG. HUGE! IMHO and I believe the quality of the redesign, inside and out is fabulous.

My 2016 had the V6 and I much prefer it over the Turbo 4 in my 2023 RX. They advertise better gas nileage (1mpg better than the V6) but fail to mention that the Turbo 4 requires premium gas. In my location, premium gas is almost $1.00 more than regular.
The turbo 4 doesn't have the instant power of the V6 and is noisier in town driving. I wish I had my 2016 w/V6 back.

So far I have had no issues with the 4 cylinder engine. The engine along with the electric traction drive works without flaw and is smoother than my 450h. Not a a fan of CVT trannies but this one is exceptional!
