If Toyotamans7's figures are correct at $600.00 more a year for gas x 6 years =$3600.00 more for gas 350; On a $60000.00 car if you get 8 % off on a gas 350, that would be $4800.00 saved which would favor the gas 350. If you can't get that good of a deal or gas prices go up a lot, the Hybrid may be better.

Had a regular RX350 (Y2023) as loaner and didn't really like the drive and interior feel compared to my MY'2017 EXEC. Is the RX350H better? The RX500 only has F-Sport and not a fan of their bucket seats.

The drive and feel of my V6 was ways away with smoothness compared to this Gen5. At this point, not so convinced to switch. Need to find something better when my ECP expires Q1'2025.

Been a lot of talk here about shopping the competition when the new RX came out. Analysis is a nutshell: Germans are good but you will pay more, Range Rover alot more, Porsche alot more. MDX is the best head to head but it's in need of a refresh. Genesis might be the best of the competition.

Also considering Infiniti's QX60 ...

The Rx's interior depends on the trim level, not whether its a hybrid or not. You may want to sit in a Premium plus or luxury trim. The hybrid drives similar to the gas model but both are a little noisy on hard acceleration. Hybrid MPG is superb. Neither will drive as sporty as a BMW X5 . Lexus is more geared to a soft ride. The Genesis GV80 is nice but long term reliability scares me. The Acura MDX is nice but I hear the infotainment system dated.

With the TX coming out, the RX will be compared more the RDX, GV70, upcoming CX-70, and other two row crossovers. To me it was always what the RX should be compared against. It’s a large roomy two row for those that don’t want a 3 row.

Default Get the 350 or wait for the 350h

Hello from Alaska. I've decided to trade on my 2019 RX 450h for the new 2023 RX. I want the copper crest with the birch interior. There is one lexus dealership in the entire state of Alaska in Anchorage which is a 3.5 hour one way drive for me. They have a 350 premium plus in the color combo I want. I was told it could be several months before they could get a 350h in those colors. They do not have any RX hybrids at all. I have not been able to test drive either. I just don't know whether to get the 350 or if it's worth waiting for the 350h? Opinions?

Well that's exactly the color combo and trim package I have (and wanted).

I would have probably purchased the h but it could have taken 6 months to get it.

You'll probably want AWD which isn't needed very often in my travels.

Good luck.

definitely would have to have the awd here in Alaska. I am just one that hates to wait once i made a decision that i want something. I know the hybrid would give me better mileage, but just hate waiting for months.

Default Hybrid holds the price better

My dealer said it would take a decade to make back costs on hybrid and generally non-hybrid has better resale value. Hybrid of course has a few extra gimmicks but nothing life changing. I’m just worried I’ll regret the fuel economy. Coming out of a Cayenne. So excited to be past constant German repairs and service.
I just sold my 2016 rav4 hybrid to CarMax and when I compared it to the gas version, it seems my hybrid sell for 5-6k more. Which is surprise to me. Now I’m on the RX 350h train, I’m more than happy with it!

It would be nice if someone made a hybrid that I don't need a computer science degree and a cell phone to drive it lol
you don’t, it’s dummy proof. 🤭

💯! Especially with muds and salts that’s more close to white colored then black.

This from my 2024 Rx350h users manual. It’s said you can use 87 and above, 91 is only recommended. But it would only give you like a mile or two extra.

Default New RX 350

I’m looking to purchase a new 2024 RX 350 and I am going back and forth between the RX 350 Premium Plus and the RX 350h. Does anyone have any ideas which would be better. I have never purchased a hybrid before and have little experience with them.

Also, are new car dealership coming off of MSRP? If so how much? Thank you for your time!!

Some of the new car dealers are coming off the list price but the 350h is still is high demand so they may not. I believe later in 2023 the dealers will be discounting everything . . . .
