How many Key Fob are included with new RX?

It took 2 appointments, the first time I went down there and they were unable to find a key so they set me another appointment and when I came back, they got it done. I bought on 3-3-23.

Glad for you! I purchased 3-14-2023 so maybe it will be soon. Have not missed the 2nd key. It will just sit in a drawer.

I thought that also a few months ago until there were posts about Japanese built RXs in the US. I grabbed the Allocation file SOLD tab and filtered by VIN. That file lists 2,000+ sold. The reason I keep asking is there is a document that states the Japanese models built before 1/1/2023 are in the first phase with notifications this month. Canadian builds before 1/1/2023 are in Phase 2 with notifications in September 2023. I would be disappointed if they were giving keys out for Canadian built cars now instead of in Phase 2. Also, only one Japanese built model was AWD, the others were all FWD.

Wife says I just got a letter from Lexus in the mail today about keys, I’m still at office. We bought a 23 ES in December and a 23 IS in March both only had one fob. So I’ve been waiting over a half year on one car. Will update when I get home to read it.
edit: letter says to call dealership who will _order_ the fob and then I take the car to dealership and they will program. Is Lexus hoping some owners will miss this and never call the dealer to order what’s already due and promised to us?

Miss the letter? I believe someone also said an alert went out to the app? They can't mail us programmed keys to our house, so we are forced to go to the dealer. Hopefully its a 10 minute visit.

yeah, I trust I don't have to go down there, it's a three hour drive for me, too.
One time I REALLY want a second key is when we go to Boston and have to give the car to a valet (who often leaves it sitting in the street for a half hour with the keys in it, this I have observed). Definitely don't want to give them my only key.

I was unable to add to my post, it's 3 hours one way for me; so 6 hours to pick up a key.
And (when it arrives) , I'm finding out that the dealer wants me back in a month to do a free look at my RX, and to tweek some settings that they don't want to do when I receive it.
